Seven years of sex assaults on Lyndhurst girl, year in prison for illegal brother immigrants

Two Lyndhurst brothers in the U.S. illegally will spend little more than a year in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl from age 5 to 12.

Superior Court Judge Edward A. Jerejian sentenced Mauro Cedeno-Blondet, 53, and Gustavo Cedeno-Blondet, 55, to three years in state prison each. But because they’ve been behind bars for 691 days, they get nearly two years of jail credit.

They will then be deported back to Ecuador.

The Cedeno-Blondets will serve their time in general population because neither qualifies for sex offender treatment at the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Avenel, the judge said.

If it's like the "general population" of most jails, they won't survive a week. Those who victimize children are customarily separated for their own protection, because even criminals have things they don't put up with.

Hopefully, being in the general population will save taxpayers the costs of incarceration and deportation.

Hope BOR gets this story. He has been very good at exposing judges who hand out light sentences for sex offenders.

I can’t believe a judge would only apply a sentence of three years for the two animals who raped a little girl for seven years! Here in Texas, it’s normally the jury that sets the sentence and the judge usually concurs.

Wait for the day they are released from prison - then “fix” the problem - permanently.

Add on...

When I was growing up in TX in the ‘40s-’50s, ANYone convicted of rape of ANYone was sentenced to a date with “Old Sparky”, and it didn’t take 10-20 years before the execution.

One Summer, there was a rapist striking in and around our neighborhood. About 4-5 neighboring families would gather each evening after supper on our side yard, with ice chests, blankets, lawn chairs, etc. There was no A/C back then, so folks had to wait for the houses to cool down enough to sleep in. All of the men had firearms and all window screens had been nailed down. ...People had to sleep with open windows to create a draft through the house and the rapist had just been removing the screens and crawling through the windows.

Sorry I went off on a tangent there. The subject just triggered some old memories. ...Point is, I guess, that back then, the citizens took actions to protect themselves and their neighbors; not depending on LEOs to solve the crimes.

So did one of the neighbors nail him, the po-po get him a date with Old Sparky, or did he just move on to other targets?

As I recall, he was finally caught when he entered the wrong house (one with an armed husband). I believe he dated “Old Sparky”. Black guy who thought it was fun terrorizing white folks and reading about it in the papers, ‘til he was caught.

Today, he would just be shot in the house.

TX in the 40’s-—I’m surprised he wasn’t invited to a “necktie social”.

I once had a Syrian friend who told of witnessing the public executions of two men convicted of raping a 12 year old girl. One of the guilty men was married and thus also guilty of adultery. The punishment for which was stoning carried out by the public.

My friend said that usually the members of the public pick up small stones and toss them, fulfilling their civic duty in a perfunctory manner. When the prosecutors brought out the little girl, the crowd became enraged and began tearing up paving blocks & cobblestones to throw at the condemned man. He said this was actually a bit more merciful in that it was a much quicker death than usual.

The other criminal was not married, so the penalty was beheading. Just before the executioner did his work, once again the prosecutor brought out the little girl. The executioner has two swords, one his trusty, very sharp workday sword and the other his gilded and engraved ceremonial sword.

When he saw the little girl, he set aside his workday sword and instead used his duller-than-a-butter-knife ceremonial sword to carry out the execution. Instead of one swift blow it took several to complete the task.

I'd send them back now, in pieces.

O’Reilly will be on their case. Watch out judge. You’re toast, as you should be.

General population: Once word gets around that these two shits are sexual predators on a little girl, they’re dead meat.

I like that sound of that. Two less animals to feed, house, and give bus money to.
