America’s next generation of youngsters should be called “Generation Rex.” If you’re wondering why playgrounds around the city are so quiet and dog runs are packed, a new report has an answer: More and more US women are forgoing motherhood and getting their maternal kicks by owning handbag-size canines.
Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that a big drop in the number of babies born to women ages 15 to 29 corresponds with a huge increase in the number of tiny pooches owned by young US women, reports the business-news site Quartz.
Dog-crazy New York ladies told The Post that they aren’t surprised by the findings — and that they happily gave up diaper changes, temper tantrums and college funds for the easy affection of their doggy “child.”
“I’d rather have a dog over a kid,” declared Sara Foster, 30, a Chelsea equities trader who says her French bulldog, Maddie, brings her more joy than a child.
“It’s just less work and, honestly, I have more time to go out. You ;. don’t have to get a baby sitter.” The federal data behind the report show that over the past seven years, the number of live births per 1,000 women between ages 15 and 29 in America has plunged 9 percent.

I became FaceBook friends with two women I knew from High School. They (are) really gorgeous women.
It seemed they grew to be liberal fag hags (female lovers of queers), and they were constantly posting annoying photos of their dumb little insect dogs, so I finally blocked their postings.
Responsible people need economic security to have children. The 8$ an hour, temp work, no pension, no benefits, get laid off every year jobs the Wallmart free-trade open borders economy produces will only cut it for the people who probably shouldn’t be having children to begin with.

Besides, “CHILD” spelled backwards is just “DLIHC.”

Parents don’t have grandsons and granddaughters.
They become granddoggers. Dogs replace kids for the grandparents too!!
They are substituting dogs for children
Not choosing rather than.
They are choosing their careers over children

Mrs WBill has a couple of friends (more like acquaintances?) like this. They're pretty useless wastes of oxygen. Mrs WBill says they complain that they can't find any good men to date / marry, because "No straight men are like their gay friends".

This misplacement of maternal instinct will be edited out of the species in a generation.
The dogs are “accessories” to these ladies. Like kids used to be to them. But that didn’t work out so well.
My point is, don't paint everyone who would rather not have children with the same broad brush. I'm proud and supportive of those who do have children, but it's not right to condemn those who for whatever reason can't or won't have children.
Well the girls I’m talking about are in their 30’s with great jobs and can take of themselves.
Many millenials witnessed their parents divorces or raising kids never married and don’t want to go through it OR have kids and put them through it. Rather than strengthening marriages and learning social skills, they opt out with a socially acceptable alternative to children - pets.
This is true and they also say they are not good enough to raise a child.
Good one.I had to become friend with all my youngest daughters friends when I joined facebook.She made me.I am always encouraging them to have a baby.My daughter is saying everyone she knows is pregnant because of the bad winter:)Of of all her close friends her and another girl have children.The other girl told me her Mother told her to abort when she got pregnant.She is a married woman.Her Mom’s a Doctor.

Medical science may soon make that irreverent for people in their 20s. Especially for the wealthy.
Within the next 10-20 years we will see unspeakable breakthroughs and will most likely be able to regenerate nearly every part of the body good as new.
Unless, of course, the ‘rats are successful in bringing us back to the stone age.
