No more Rovian and establishment BS.

I can't stand the smell, no matter how tightly I hold my nose.

We have something slightly similar going on here in Kentucky. Mitch McConnell is trying to hold off a challenge by Matt Bevin in the primary.

I'm a conservative kind of guy, I have voted for Mitch McConnell in every election he has ever run in. When he started politics as County Judge Executive he was great. He cleaned house, got rid of the graft and cronyism, it was all good. He went to the senate, acted like a true Kentucky conservative. He and Jim Bunning were the best tag team in the Senate, for a while. Something has happened to Mitch. When he sued over McCain Finegold he was at the top of his game, since he lost that battle he seems to have been going down hill.

I am deserting Mitch in the primary. It is a hard thing to do. How cool it would be to have our state represented by the Majority Leader in the Senate.

When Rand Paul ran, we were told how a TEA party guy couldn't win in the general and to not waste our opportunity, well I didn't listen then and Rand Paul is the finest Senator in the Senate. I'm not listening now, I don't have to hold my nose so I won't. Mitch has done a lot of good, a lot but there always has to be an end and this, I hope is it.

McConnell, McCain and others are examples of why the Senate shouldn't be a lifetime career.

They start out well, but whatever foul toxins in the air and water there build up in the body and seemingly can't be flushed out, which is why the Senators themselves must be flushed.

Like Mark Twain said:

"Politicians are like diapers; they need to be changed often and for the same reason."
