I did indeed Sally Forth - as did Mrs. MacNessa. A smooth commute in - a relatively uneventful day at the office. I was able to elude the accidents on the way in. Another smooth commute on the way home.
Mrs. MacNessa is doing well, thanks! It's hard to keep her down - she's not supposed to put any weight on her left foot yet. She's being a good girl, as hard as it is for her - she's normally a dynamo - a self-starter. She is not at all happy about being laid-up.

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Maddi and I had a fun day.
She broke the antique wooden doll highchair. Now I've got to fix it again.

Don’t be sorry. You posted a great link.
We need to be reminded about “Hollywood” of old, of their patriotism. And do some comparing to the complainers of today.

Bulldozer crossing bridge at Julich, Germany 1945. It sure looks like it would be easy to drive that thing off the bridge.
