The heat in the IRS investigation just went up. Rep. Darrell Issa, head of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, sent a letter today to ranking member Rep. Elijah Cummings in which he accuses Cummings of working to "obstruct the investigation" into IRS misbehavior.
The bulk of Rep. Issa's letter is devoted to some recently uncovered emails which demonstrate that Rep. Cummings was seeking information on True the Vote, the voter integrity group based in Texas which became the target of much unwanted government attention.
Cummings' staff contacted the IRS in August 2012 to inform them that they would be opening an investigation into True the Vote's activities. Then in October 2012 Cummings' office began requesting information directly from True the Vote which was very similar to what had previously been requested by the IRS.
For instance, in February the IRS requested information True the Vote's software and training materials. Rep. Cummings office also asked for information on True the Vote's software and training materials in their October 2012 request. Issa's letter suggests the similarities might be more than a mere coincidence, "This timeline and pattern of inquiries raises concerns that the IRS improperly shared protected taxpayer information with your staff."
Five days after Rep. Cumming's first letter to True the Vote in October 2012, in which he requested information on "training materials used for volunteers," the IRS sent True the Vote another request asking for information on volunteers and training.
Then in January 2013, Cummings' office sent a request for information on True the Vote public tax information to the IRS...

We know that the emails provided by the Gubermint have been heavily redacted. Did something slip through unnoticed , or do we have a Patriot mole in the IRS or NSA feeding Issa?

A conspiracy between the Executive and members of Congress to commit multiple felonies.
Therefore it’s a RICO case.
Even more interesting is the fact that there is suddenly enough cause of action for True the Vote to file a law suit against Lerner, Cummings and the IRS.
FWIW, True the Vote is a voter fraud prevention group.
This is gong to be a very fun connect the dots operation.
First we have Lerner colluding with Cummings to use IRS power to obstruct True the Vote from conducting any activities related to combating voter fraud in the 2012 election.
Coincidentally, we just had a big report from NC about how extensive voter fraud actually was in the 2012 election.

I wonder how much longer before Elija inadvertantly complains that “all dem white republicans” are just picking on him cause he is a freed slave(or his dad was).
Nothing more than flat out government intimidation. I gotta’ hand it to the woman. Most would have quit. She has nothing to gain personally in the short run.
We really need at least two or three big cases of Slave Party vote fraud to get the people to see the scope of this thing, especially as regards software manipulation; else the cartridge box will be our only remaining recourse. We need to go back to manual counts of paper ballots marked and sealed with each count as witnessed and tallied by representatives of multiple parties. No more computers.

Eric WithHolder will not prosecute IRS Gangster Lois Lerner, of course, and even if he did, Barack Al-Obama would likely pardon her for her Federal crimes. But, can she be prosecuted in any STATE courts??
