It may be time for all of America to quit watching TV altogether.
I'm a baby boomer - have watched TV since Day 1, but haven't watched a regular program since before Seinfeld.
While channel surfing and finding nothing to watch again last week (with over 200 channels!), it dawned on me that it may just be time to quit TV.
Normally I'd add the "except for sports" caveat here, but I quit watching the felons in the NFL and NBA many moons ago.
Now I'm sick of baseball too with its multi-zillion dollar contracts for .228 hitters, PEDs and a sport that'll soon be approaching 50% foreigners.

About the only broadcast events I watch anymore are the majors in golf (and, hey, The Master's starts tomorrow!), some of the World Series, and the NFL Playoffs. Trouble is that the broadcasters have let their bias spill over into sports too. Seems like you cannot watch an event without some commentator segueing into an aside, liberal-biased of course, on current events, or worse, BO showing up to hog the spotlight.

I concur.
I have Netflix and HBO GO which help. Also, I have a rather large collection of old and modern TV series I enjoy. Occasionally, I will marathon a season. [Commercials have been removed, and that makes them more watchable.]
