Crazy..saw him last night on RAW..at least he was inducted in the Hall Of Fame before he died..RIP
Breaking News huh?
Who? What?
I don’t give a damn.
Rest In Peace.
I looked up his image, that’s who I thought it was.
Steroids shortened his life?
I bet these wrasslers have a tough time buying life insurance.
So dies another part of childhood. Sad to see so many of the wrestlers I rooted for or against (Warrior, Randy Savage, Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect, Roadwarrior Hawk, etc.) are dead.
RIP Ultimate Warrior. I’m going to gorilla press slam a liberal in your honor.
The Von Erich family is a professional wrestling family. Their actual birth names are "Adkisson", but every member of the family who went into the wrestling business used the ring name "Von Erich", after the family patriarch, Jack (Fritz Von Erich) Adkisson. Although the family patriarch Fritz lived to the age of 68, five of his six sons preceded him in death (three by suicide). The firstborn son, Jack Jr., died at the age of six. In 1984, David Von Erich died in Japan from acute enteritis of the upper intestine. Michael, Chris, and Kerry all committed suicide in 1987, 1991, and 1993 respectively. Mike died after taking an overdose of Placidyl. Chris shot himself in the head with a 9mm handgun at his parents' home in East Texas. Kerry shot himself in the chest behind his father's house on Shady Shores Road. Kevin Von Erich is the sole surviving child of Fritz (Jack Adkisson) and Doris Adkisson.
*** WRASSLIN PING LIST TAGGED IN***
As always, if you'd like ON or OFF my wrasslin' ping list, let me know
Baron Von Raschke keeps going. Always makes me wonder about the exceptions, more like those who were before Steroids and whatever else came.
I just saw an announcement yesterday for a con with a curr3nt pic of him stating he’d be in attendance and remember thinking to myself how old he looked for his age.
I guess his career took its toll.
RIP
Sad. RIP.
Sorry for the loss and all. But I have to say this.
I’m really glad that I don’t know who this, or any other ‘wrestler’ is.
I could never figure it out ......Is wrestling real or not?
I saw him on Monday Night Raw the other night. He looked fine. I’m guessing it was a massive heart attack. R.I.P. Ultimate Warrior.
I swore off wrestling years ago. Until they get instant-replay involved, you just can’t trust it...
So sad! Another little part that connects us the awesome 80’s is gone. :(
Oh for the olden days of “wrestling” with Gorgeous George, The Great BOLO, and Killer Brooks. They knew how to entertain!
Russ Davis, Ringside from Chicago.
I saw him on RAW on Monday night and he didn’t seem well. His son played LB for the Buckeyes and now plays for the Rams.
