A 16-year-old was today arrested and charged over the murder of Nathan Trapuzzano, the newlywed who was shot dead as he took a morning walk. Simeon Adams, known by the nickname 'Red', is alleged to have confessed to a friend that he shot Nathan once in the stomach - after the newlywed, who was expecting his first child, reached down to his shoes as Adams made him strip during the robbery. Adams' friend Marvell Robinson told detectives he was woken up by the alleged shooter on the morning of April 1 at his home in Indianapolis. Adams told him: 'Man the police is out here and they are looking for me.' Robinson told detectives Adams made Nathan strip, according to the court papers. 'When he told Nathan to take his pants off the victim started reaching for his shoes and Simeon asked him (Nathan) "Why you reaching for your shoes?". Simeon said the "white man tried to tussle with me so I shot him"'. Nathan, a 24-year-old software engineer had been out for a morning walk at around 5am, when Adams and accomplice Martez 'Duh-Duh' McGraw allegedly targeted him.

That sentence amazes me at the lack of reasoning. Or - perhaps his gangster style of clothing with the baggy shorts doesn’t require the removal of shoes before taking off one’s pants.

Don’t be amazed with the lack of reasoning. The killer feral creature simply has a VERY low IQ—as do most of his peers. They are OBSOLETE and there is no productive place for them in society now. And they know that is the case and, I believe, is one of the sources of their rage against those who are actually capable with normal IQs.

Murderer is 16. Likely to be tried as juvenile. Juvenile life is the max. In short, release at 18 or so.
He’ll have to be put down later.
Maybe he’ll die in the (civil) war. It happens. Or by a fellow inmate’s shiv.
He go through a trial, get convicted, serve 10 or 20 years, get out, and then do it again.

He will probably be tried as a juvenile offender and get juvenile life. Released upon his majority.
He won’t make 30. I’ve seen the type. They think they are invulnerable, and it is usually a comparable hellspawn that takes them out. Most of them don’t even make it into their mid 20s.

Indianapolis is a failing city. I hate to say it, since I used to live there, but its murder rate spiked last year above even Chicago’s level, and this year has been even worse. City officials are clearly hapless and have little if any idea what to do about public safety.
Personally, I’d just avoid the place entirely until it decides to clean up its act. If that ever happens...
Already reported he will be tried as an adult. But, no death penalty due to his age when the crime was committed.
I am already smelling a plea bargain and less than 20 years. Not enough time. Anything less than life in solitary is too little time.
