Howard Stern has made no secret of his affection for Greg Gutfeld.
Stern proclaimed Gutfeld's The Five to be his favorite show earlier this year. Now, the self-proclaimed King of All Media is going a step further with his praise for the Breitbart News contributor and author.
Stern told his listeners earlier today that Gutfeld would make a fine replacement for the departing David Letterman.
That praise doesn't come lightly.
Stern has made his animosity toward fellow late night talker Jay Leno well known...

I like it but it isn’t going to happen.
Gutfeld would never take the job, even if offered. He’s not a comedian....more in the likeness of Will Rogers (simply observing life and its pitfalls).
Greg Gutfeld is way to Conservative for CBS or any of the alphabet networds. Ain’t going to happen.
Gutfeld would deliver massive ratings. However, there’s no way he would allow himself to be fettered and there’s no way the liberal network execs would allow him to have the show unless he was on a very tight leash.
Plus, I would really miss him if he left The Five.
It would be a brilliant move. But it will never happen merely because Gutfeld works for FOXNews. The left would sh*t. I would love to see MSNBC’s reaction.
