Hey, a pile of dog turds would make a fine replacement for David Letterman and nobody would even notice Dave’s missing.
I really liked Letterman when he first stated his show. He was really funny, and pretty darned inventive.
But that was 25 or 30 years ago, I think... He grew long in the tooth, then all his teeth fell out. He hasn't been funny since long before he moved to CBS.
