This gives us an idea of the state of Ukraines forces.

Only ONE plane capable of flying home from Crimea on its own, and that only after "maintenance", and it sounds like only three ships capable of making Odessa under their own power.

Let's call it a garage sale deal. However, they must have wanted the stuff so it MUST be considered a concession by Russia.

When Ukraine became independent, they had one of the largest armies in the world and 500,000 active soldiers. They now have 90,000 and falling.

What's really noticeable is that the Ukraine has disarmed citizens of choice i.e., ethnic Russians.

Isn’t this basically a surrender? No two nations at “war” would even discus such a thing. Russia would have surely said no, or destroyed them all before letting them go back to Ukraine.

And Russia, by doing so, give themselves yet another PR win.
