Attorney General Eric Holder exploded at Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert during a House hearing Tuesday.
In the midst of questions about the Justice Department’s failure to divulge documents about the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial, Gohmert made a side comment about how the House of Representatives found Holder in contempt in 2012 for refusing to turn over documents related to the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal.
“I realize that contempt is not a big deal to our attorney general, but it is important that we have proper oversight,” Gohmert said.
“You don’t want to go there, buddy! You don’t want to go there, okay,” Holder shot back.
“I don’t want to go there?” the Texas Republican responded.
“No,” Holder said, leaning forward in his seat.
“About the contempt?” Gohmert asked.
“You should not assume that that is not a big deal to me. I think that it was inappropriate, I think it was unjust. But never think that that was not a big deal to me. Don’t ever think that,” Holder said pointing at Gohmert.

Since what is NOT said is as important as what IS said... I notice he didn’t say that contempt WAS a big deal to him...just the we shouldn’t assume it wasn’t...
Holder reminds me of Homie da Clown from the old “In Living Color” series. They are both mean clowns. Has anybody ever seen Homie and Holder together at the same place and same time?

holder has unlimited power. He can have all your assets and property taken away, and put you in prison for life. He has shown his willingness to use his power unfairly, and for political purposes.
Gohmert had better watch his mailbox for letters from the irs.
Notice that it wasn’t the prospect of being held in contempt that caused Holder to go full on thuggy...
It was being called on his lawlessness, having his disregard for the rule of law being pointed out,
ie, telling the truth about him was what set him off.
1:14 in - it cuts to a flesh-colored talking stick or something then cuts back just before Gohmert starts talking lasts about a second and a half.
The devil cannot abide scorn,
and his minions cannot abide having the truth told about them.
It is a threat. Holder demonstrating that he and his boss are absolutely above the law. Gohmert is one of the good guys, and I'm glad to see him poke the snake.
I agree with you about Louie Gohmert being Speaker material. I would love to see him or Trey Gowdy as Speaker.
