Celebrate Conformity! (Mark Steyn)
steynonline.com ^ | April 4, 2014 | Mark Steyn

On Wednesday, I wrote about the Mozilla CEO in trouble for a five-year-old donation to Proposition Eight, the successful California ballot measure that banned gay marriage - if only until America's robed rulers declared the will of the people to be "unconstitutional". Brandon Eich is a tech genius: Aside from co-founding Mozilla and creating Firefox, he also invented JavaScript. Apparently, the disgusting homophobic hatey-hatey-hateful belief that marriage is a sacrament between a man and a woman is not incompatible with knowing your way around a computer...

Mark, remember what the great T. E. Lawrence said .....

"NOOO PRISONNERRRRS, NOOOOOOOO PRISOONNNNERRRRRRRSSSS!!"

Seriously, this episode has potential to be the Dropped Penny Heard 'Round the World. The Gay Left has overplayed their hand here and showed prematurely what they intend for everyone Not Gay, and I hope they don't get that hand back!

Guys, the HRC has overplayed their hand and showed people what they're made of.

This could be a Pyrrhic victory for them.

Rush commented on this today ,, according to him the instigator was the founder/ceo of “OK-Cupid.com” , a gay hookup/dating site ... the kicker is that this person contributed to a anti-gay-marriage Utah Repub senator. ,,, and supposedly he was attempting to get some publicity for his site.

Most of those dating sites would do anything to get publicity.

Correctly described by another FReeper as the obvious love-child of Elizabeth Warren and used janitor's mop:

Then why do you bother to post? To get people to quit resisting, to quit communicating, to quit analyzing and to quit understanding because it doesn’t matter, the battle is lost?

I think that’s exactly why you post. To push your boss’s new meme: “What does it matter?”

Some people asassinated the body. You seek to asassinate the heart.

Vile, vile, vile.

Yes, the Mrs Bill (Hillary Rodham Clintonites) cultists are pure evil, and the more time goes by the more they show their true colours.

The Gay Mafia has destroyed the referendum process, which is a part of the democratic system.

Even though Proposition Eight gained enough votes to ban same-sex marriage in California, the ban was overturned by a homosexual judge.

But that wasn’t enough. Now the gays have managed to get a Proposition Eight contributor fired.

So how can California or any other state hold referendums in the future? If the will of the people voting in a referendum can simply be overturned by a judge, and if those contributing to help get a referendum passed can be ganged up on and destroyed for their views, it makes no sense for anyone to take part in referendums.

Which means the People have effectively been silenced and we’re living in a tyranny — at least Californians are living in a tyranny. If the voters of California who successfully voted to ban same-sex marriage in their state, only to have their will overturned, truly want to see same-sex marriages banned, they will have to vote Republican. Republican officials will then choose Republican judges and freedom and happiness will return to the Golden State.

No, I meant the Human Rights Campaign <sic>, the gay-rights umbrella organization that leads this whole foul-smelling circus.

Their name is a lie -- "homosexual rights" are "human rights"? Really? -- but that's what they (lyingly) call themselves.

What did you expect of a Cal-Berkeley lawyerette who was for years Mozilla's "Chief Lizard Wrangler"?

She's straight, married, one son. So whatever she did, she did out of Berkeley moral arrogance or pressure from "somewhere".

I'm not sure what to make of your comment. She's straight: so what? If it weren't for an enormous number of straight "enablers" the homosexual agenda would still be where it was when Oscar Wilde was sentenced to prison.

I seriously doubt she needed the least bit of "pressure" to do what comes naturally to Berzerkerly grads when blood is in the water. I seriously doubt she had the courage to oppose the "pressure" even if she wasn't naturally inclined to cut down anyone who isn't ideologically pure.

Firefox is essentially doomed anyway. It's become buggy and unstable and there are plenty of superior alternatives.

The last thing I was using it for was the SQLite Browser add-in tool, which I very occasionally use to support 2nd level support people who're having trouble with one of my mobile apps. I knocked off a C# version of my own that does the same thing last night, and uninstalled Firefox on all of my real machines and VM's this morning, and I'm advising my 1st and 2nd level support people to do the same.

We are now in a war..it may be a cold war but it is a real war..and they our out to destroy us..so it not about looking for them to wake up, see what there doing, and repent..its about us fighting back

LOL, big words, but you don't even know what "we" should be "fighting."

Let alone how.

Violence will not win this fight. Nor voting or politics. Nor economics.

Corporate law is being imposed on a non-corporate people. That is the mechanism of ALL of the injustice in this country. There is one mechanism, and that's it - and it's applied to every collectivist act, whether Rat or RINO or whatever.

Until that is studied, learned, and addressed by millions of people, it will continue to make things worse and worse. There is no getting around it, because this is not a theory - it is the actual mechanism of tyranny.

However, and unfortunately, no one seems very interested in even learning about its existence.

Which, of course, changes nothing. It's like people who aren't interested in learning how to run anything that they depend on - their interests, or lack thereof, don't change how things work.

Your call for "fighting" is merely another set-up. Even if it worked, which it cannot without more bloodshed than all the wars we've been in combined, it still would not get rid of the fundamental problem of the wrongful imposition of corporate status, which would be merely repeated once again.

It's funny, I thought if the problem was discovered, the people would act to correct things, and save their country. But America is based on a profoundly deep concept, deeper than any other country that ever existed. It truly is based on the goodness of people, on their willingness to face hard truths, and reject corruption. That's why Lincoln called it the "Great Experiment," and Ben Franklin said "A Republic, madam, if you can keep it."

What if the solution appeared - but no one used it? A solution that required no violence, only learning. And the proper use of the very system that has run amuck for lack of understanding and lack of proper use?

What a shame that would be.

Yet that is exactly what is happening before our very eyes.

Sadly Steyn is now banned from National Review, as an editor there thought his remarks about homosexual groups’ power were “derogatory and puerile”....

The gay gestapo even infect supposedly conservative organizations.
