Sen. James Inhofe (R- OK) is taking a stand against the steady stream of job-killing, price-raising regulations coming out of the Environmental Protection Agency.
Inhofe says he'll force Congressional review of any new EPA regulations relating to the Clean Air Act from going into effect until the agency conducts a full review of these policies and their impact on the American economy.

Every regulation should be required to have a pricetag in cost to the economy, with supporting data.
who cares ... the damage has been done never to be undone without armed revolution .. and that’s the truth
What’s your alternative? To give up?
People confront evil all the time and win. What’s with the new “let’s give up’ meme??
Armed revolution?
Gimme a break - are you working undercover or what?
There should be a congressional vote on all this cr@p, not just a review.
“Every regulation should be required to have a pricetag in cost to the economy, with supporting data.”
I think there is already a law to that effect, it just hasn’t been enforced.
Nope, you keep after their sorry butts like annoying gnats. Problem is forcing the alphabet agencies to comply with court orders. Send some of them to the clink for non-compliance.
Exactly. They truly are the stupid party. Could have done this long ago.
The only way to ‘fix’ the EPA is to eliminate it. Fedgov has no Constitutional authority to be in the environment business.
And, you are correct, rktman. These clowns couldn’t conduct an efficient, effective investigation of their own navel lint, let alone anything of importance to the nation.
How can you spot the FBI agent at the militia meeting?
He’s the one calling for armed revolution.
What court orders are you talking about?
Since the country is 16 trillion plus in the hole, I would defund EPA 100 percent to save money and let the states make their own choices about regulation of environmental matters. They already have their own agencies, anyway,
I haven't read the article, but I know enough about how congress works that nothing is ever incorporated today ... usually the next year
What can go wrong in a year ?
Uh, maybe it wasn’t a court order. May have been congressional direction to “force” them to turn over all relevant info. In any case, compliance is not one of the strong suits to these “transparent” agencies. And if there is a court order, they would ignore that too.
This is election year hocus pocus talk designed to make you think the Republicans are really doing something when they are doing nothing.
“The Congressional Review Act (CRA) allows Congress to review
major rules issued by federal agencies before the rules take effect.
Congress may disapprove new rules, resulting in the rules having no force.
Sen. Inhofe announced Tuesday that he will be filing a CRA report
on any major EPA regulation introduced under President Obama.”

Good.
I’m not familiar with the CRA and will have to read up on it.
It’s constant and in nearly every thread lately. This is actually really great news and sorely needed.
