Glenn Beck: McConnell just as bad as Obama
thehill.com ^ | 4/5/14 | Tim Devaney

Conservative television personality Glenn Beck on Saturday offered Tea Party supporters an unsavory comparison between Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and President Obama.

"Mitch McConnell is as big of a danger to our country as Barack Obama is," Beck said during FreePAC Kentucky, a conservative event that promoted two Tea Party challengers over their Republican incumbents in the Senate.

McConnell, a five-term Senator, is facing a challenge in the November elections from Kentucky businessman Matt Bevin, who was also speaking at the event. Speaking to McConnell supporters, Beck offered a grave prediction: "You're guy's going out of business very soon," he said.

Beck and many of the Tea Party supporters are disappointed that the mainstream Republicans — who he refers to as the "progressives on the right" — have not done more to fight the Obama administration on issues like ObamaCare and the national debt.

They see McConnell as a big part of the problem, because he is the top Republican in the Senate.

"The reason why Mitch McConnell needs to be sent home packing and wear some big Bermuda shorts out on the golf course someday is because he's been part and parcel of where we're headed," Beck said.

Thirty backstabbing, cowardly, quisling years of RINO appeasing treachery. When is enough for you Kentucky?

He has a point . With a democrat you know exactly what to expect. With a RHINO you never really know. They are both big government advocates. The only difference is who benefits from the nepotism and how long it takes to destroy the Republic. There are advantages for a speedy demise.

McConnell is worse. A phony. We know what we get with BHO. I truly despise RHINOs.

Loony talk. McConnell may not be the flame thrower that some here want him to be but he’s no Obama.

McConnell is worse than Obama. Obama is very upfront as to who he is what he is going to do. McConnell colludes with the Dems behind our backs.

Matt Bevin for Senate (MattBevin.com) Donate if you have $5, $10, or more to help get rid of the RINO.

This is the second post I have seen with this theme. No, he is not as bad as El-Presidente but he and much of the establishment are enablers.

“Loony talk. McConnell may not be the flame thrower that some here want him to be but he’s no Obama.”

McConnell is just as much a dangerous oligarch as Obama. McConnell is an assistant, an enabler, a handmaiden to the liberals and their agenda. And he is a brick wall stopping any resistance to them, and he comes up with clever schemes to undermine those that resist the liberals and their agenda items.

Remember McConnell sold out to give Obama a blank check on spending so he could avoid having to make a stand on limited budget and he could appear conservative to his constituents.

Can anyone tell us how the turn-out was Saturday at the FreePac Ketucky event? I’d really like to know the turn-out and how much media coverage it got.

Thanks,
Din Maker

Several of my friends attended, and they said attendance was around 3,500 people. Local media barely covered it at all and, when they did, claimed that there were “about a thousand people.”
