It's the last bastion of women's outerwear that hasn't been appropriated by the more fashionable men out there - until now.
High heels are, apparently, de rigueur for men.
To the possible chagrin of some more traditional males, those with a fashionable eye and an eccentric sensibility are taking the women's power dressing weapon of choice and making it their own.

Did you look at his comment I responded to?
“Look at all the faggot clothing our forebears wore. Sodomites all!
Is this an appropriate comment for this venue? I thought Jim Robinson ran a site committed to Christian Conservative values.
Also, is “Go to hell, faggot” acceptable?
No, that language does not belong on the site. I was trying to inject a little more intelligence to the debate.
High heels for men? Well, no, those are clearly not men. They’re not women, but they sure as hell aren’t men.
I was trying to inject a little more intelligence to the debate.
...and also class. Thanks!
If you have to use French to describe the men, they’re not manly men.
I am going to agree to disagree agree.
LOL
Quit posting tabloid crap in the news forum. Thanks.
Women believe all sorts of things....... for instance that the hydrating serum in Oil Of Olay stops aging.
Heels and Oil of Olay are merely two common forms of delusional vanity
Yeah, that's what the marketing says. If a woman believes it, she's an idiot. I guess you could place her in the same category with men who buy all those products to "cure" baldness.
I use Oil of Olay myself. I put it on underneath my makeup so the makeup goes on smoothly, which is why most women use it. It's a moisturizer; moisturizers hydrate, as you stated above. Coconut oil or even hand lotion, in a pinch, would work as well.
"Heels and Oil of Olay are merely two common forms of delusional vanity"
Well, of course we women are vain about our looks! The alternative is leftwing she-beasts with no makeup, hairy legs and armpits, and Birkenstocks. I guess there are some men who prefer that...to each his own.
Now, the male of the species doesn't tend to be vain about looks, unless he is a queer. The straight male's vanity and ego often depend upon being right, even when he has no idea what he is talking about...and even to the extent of making himself look pretty silly. Sound familiar?
No....no, of course it doesn't, LOL.
You're kind of cute, in an over-the-top stereotypical way. But you're coming across more and more as someone with a deep resentment toward women, for some reason. If you've been damaged, I don't want to poke too hard at you.
Also, is Go to hell, faggot acceptable?
You called me a cross dresser, so damned right my comment was acceptable. And according to your definition of queer, the Founding Fathers must have been homosexual because of the “womens clothing” they wore.
Can’t believe the amount of insecure men out there, based on all the replies you are getting from this post. I mean, some of them actually feel threatened by it. You would think high heels on men was sweeping the nation or something.
Yup. For all the macho talk in here, its amazing how little it takes to send them diving in fear under their beds quivering like jello.
They’re just noticing the gay hookers up on Hollywood Boulevard now? They’re been up there for decades.
Those aren’t men......
Gentlemen don’t wear women’s clothing, homosexuals and sexual deviants do.
Couple o’ nasty looking faggots, there ...
Or the gun range!
