For Senate Democrats running this year in Republican-leaning states, their struggle with how to deal with Obamacare's unpopularity left them biting their nails a bit harder after President Obama announced Tuesday that the health care law hit its 7 million enrollment goal.
While the White House continues touting the benefits of the law, polls consistently show more Americans disapprove of Obamacare -- a disconnect that's not helping as Democrats try to fire up voters in their effort to fend off a potential Republican takeover of the Senate.
But at a time when the economy is overwhelmingly viewed as the most important issue that the country faces, Obamacare could be the deciding issue of the midterms if Democrats allow it to be, pollsters and strategists in both parties say.

That would be spitting in their base’s face. They’ve worked all these years to get universal health control as that’s the holy grail of socialism; ultimate control. It’s the power base from which all other power bases will derive. If they repealed it they’d be primaried out of their job anyway. They really have no choice but to ride this bronco to the very end.
Donkeys need to get demoralized and stay home for the next 10-20 elections...

The media will see to it that Americans believe Ocare is the best legislation ever put forth
The Dems should gloat about ObamaCare.
They should brag about how they passed it all on their own.
They should promise not to change a thing about it.
They should point out that those who liked their policies and lost them because of ObamaCare were too stupid to know what was good for them.
The little people need to learn to be grateful to Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their followers for getting rid of policies that may have been thousands of dollars a years cheaper, with much lower deductibles and co-payments, but were substandard because they didn’t cover birth control and gender reassignment.
The Dems need to embrace their major accomplishment of the century - along with the unemployment and underemployment that came with ObamaCare.
The toads at SeeBS all have a tear running down their legs right now. They know Americans have figured out that ObamaCare is a thieving scam and that their commie ‘RAT comrades are going to be in heap big trouble (A little Native American lingo) come November. They’re really worried about their commie ‘RAT “massas”.
The problem is that it’s easy to lie to people about what others think, but people aren’t likely to buy a line of bullsh!t about how great a chocolate cupcake tastes if they have tasted it themselves and recognized it as a pile of crap.
That would just about offset the $1800/yr increase I got in Dec. , no more HSA and the extra 2.5% of AGI to write off as medical expenses
Like every other position that the 60's communists now in power have taken they must ride it all the way to the bitter end. To do anything other would be an admission of failure of their ideas, and that they will not do...ever. If they think that they are going to lose the control they have now, I expect the "ethnic" version of the brownshirts to appear very soon.
Democrats will deal with Obamacare the Chicago/Alinsky way by digging up old divorce, IRS, and High School records on their opponents. If that doesn’t distract voters enough they will declare a war on women, racism, and bigotry with the assistance of their media allies.

Not that I am recommending it but - how funny would it be if the Republicans took a page from the RAT handbook and start lamenting how the RAT’s won’t win another election unless they reach across the aisle to help repeal ObamaCare
Why would they care? They haven’t been held accountable by the masses for anything in years and I hope but don’t see them starting now.
At worst I see them filing the serial numbers ( their names ) off of it.
I really don’t see what the problem is. Nancy, Harry, and James Carville have all said the Democrats should all fully embrace this incredibly wonderful piece of legislation so beloved by out nation. And I agree. All Democrats running for election this November should tout their role in passing Obamacare and/or keeping it in place.
