The names of the six-member jury panel that acquitted George Zimmerman in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin have been made public for the first time, after a new court order, records show.
Circuit Judge Debra Nelson, who had previously ordered the jurors' identifying information be kept confidential, granted access to the names in a ruling March 21.

I hope each juror is armed, and prepared to do what Zimmerman did.

I don’t remember exactly, but I think there was a thread a few days ago about it. I tried Google and couldn’t find anything very recent, only items from late 2013.

Did you read the article? In Florida, jurors names are public. The defense asked for, and was granted, anonymity for 6 months post-verdict. It’s been more than 6 months, and the Orlando Sentinel asked for the list.
Why are you blaming the judge for granting the defense’s request and following Florida law?

Somebody should publish the Judges home address.
Judges ordered their own homes removed from our county's online property tax assessment website. Apparently they're a wee bit sensitive about us average peons knowing where they live.

My guess is the bastards all have concealed carry permits too.

constitutionally you have the right to face the accuser and that includes not having secret juries. This was inevitable, correctly so.
And here I thought that the defense team knew all the names of the jurors since the first day of voir dire.

I had a great uncle who was a judge 30, 40 years ago. He lived WAY out in the country. He was always packing for obvious reasons.
But I am sure he would not have ruled to remove his own house from that database.
To: mlo
I missed it. Where did he do that? I read that to be when he had the FBI take Zimmerman's gun into custody, days after the trial concluded.

The courts have determined there is generally a qualified 1stA right of access to information about jurors; however, some courts and state legislatures believe the right does not apply in cases involving gang activity or other situations in which the personal safety of jurors may be at issue.
Obviously, the court here had the discretion to withhold personal information of the jurors and did so for some months clearly out of concern for the safety of the members.
How can anyone reasonably argue the national outcry, the marches and vandalism/destruction, the constant drumbeat of warnings and threats from various national organizations and public figures published prior to and after the verdict, should not serve to extend that protection?
What possible government interest or right of the public will be served by publishing the addresses of the members who voted for acquittal?
