HARTFORD -- Commemorating Connecticut's first anniversary of tougher gun laws, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy didn't mince words on Thursday, loudly challenging the National Rifle Association to support the federal Affordable Care Act and help expand opportunities for mental-health treatment.

Every high profile mass media event shooting was done by a shooter getting mental health treatment. Mental health treatment seems to cause mass shootings followed by suicide.
Hey Malloy, just because you’re a commie doesn’t necessarily mean that people are going to jump for you.
Gun-grabbers have been dismantling mental health facilities for years. Obamacare doesn’t fix this.
Liberal Democratic jackass braying the mindless party line (and planting a big fat wet kiss on 0bama's backside in the process - a twofer). Freedom in CT is apparently not considered to be relevant by either the politicians or the subjects who elected them.
Expanded mental illness treatment means separating the mentally ill from the rest of us. Drugging people up is what’s causing these things. Years ago you’d hear in hushed tones that ‘so and so’ was taken to a hospital. It’s an unfortunate part of life, but better that than mass shootings that kill the innocent.
A know nothing liberal big mouth in the process of destroying another state.
NRA probably has no official position on Omamacare - focus is on RKBA. Period.
Here’s a challenge to Malloy.
Stop being a total dumbass.
Coming soon: Hoplophilia to be a newly identified mental disorder. Once identified, the sufferer will be placed on the list of persons prohibited from owning firearms.
That will never happen, the libs will not allow for that.
...he also challenged the Boy Scouts to accept gay Scoutmasters, told the oil companies to build solar power plants and spouted several other non sequiturs promoting the left-wing agenda.
It still is - having a society bullied into accepting a wrong, doesn't make the wrong, right.
Rather, it makes the society weak - as we are (as a society).
You have to give him something realistic.
People who think the delivery of socialized medicine is a cure for mental illness are themselves mentally ill. There is NO cure.
What moron thinks the “ACA” is going to expand opportunities for people to receive mental health treatment?
