I have never watched Meet the Press and I don’t watch anything else on NBC or any other alphabet network either.
But are there really enough conservatives who still do watch MTP to make a difference if they stopped?
I used to watch Meet the Depresses as Rush calls it many years ago before our cable company added the Fox News Channel, but then I also watched 60 minutes, The Today Show and Good Morning America. Also CNN etc. Now I don’t watch any of the ABC channels
Democrats, liberals, progressives whatever. They support their own. We conservatives EAT our own and it has cost us.
It seems the GOP has forgotten that.
ding ding ding ding!!! winner winner winner winner...
post of the day award!!!
Unapologetic conservatives win in landslides.
It seems the GOP has forgotten that.

They remember.
They remember, and whisper together in conclave to make sure it NEVER happens again.
Social Justice being the rallying cry for the low information voters, who do not look beyond the prepared slop coming from their choice of news/information sources...
We will never beat that entrenched nonsense until this country implodes on itself...
It is a little too late to try and convince anyone even near that fence to see the destructive nature of liberalism that leads to socialism, that leads to enslavement and loss of our liberties and freedoms, if those very values are not taught and encouraged at an early age...
It may take a few generations to get back to that point, yet it may be too late...
It has been bred out of our youth, and there is really no way to recover or convince anyone of that indoctrination how destructive this path is...
It will be a wake up call one day when the bank comes to collect on this bill...
I believe it.
Derek Hunter makes good points... it’s a start. Maybe he could look into the Alliance for Audited Media...( the old Audit Bureau of Circulation) Are newspaper numbers staying high because of new ways of counting? Are numbers honestly reflecting the loss of conservative readers? Or is everything ‘fine’... Maybe - maybe not - just curious....
Izz at Pajama Boy on the right in that picture?
I have been complaining about this for a long time
As others have already commented, I too have long ago abandoned Network TV. Of concern to me however is the Web. I get most of my info nowadays via the Web. And to keep tabs on the “enemy”, I regularly visit web pages of media and “news” organizations I abhor! I feel that if I don’t keep an eye on them, I will never be informed and ready to act. Problem is, every “hit” on a web page brings them REVENUE! Don’t know if anyone else notices the same thing, but more and more web pages either include or are entirely VIDEO feeds, of course, with Ad’s preceding the video. I suspect this brings them even more revenues than a regular web page “hit”. Anyone have any comments on this? Am I financially rewarding the enemy every time I visit their web page?
Every movie ticket or newspaper we buy, every second we spend on any given television network is another dollar going into the coffers of the forces pushing the agenda conservatives oppose. We are feeding the beast.

Yup!
Rachel Madcow sure looks like him doesn’t she?
Newspapers are tanking for two reasons.
1) A guy named Craig Newmark completely demolished their highly profitable classified advertising business.
2) Nobody under the age of 30 (35?) even looks at them. If my grandkids didn’t see the WSJ at our house, they’d have no idea what a “newspaper” is.
Why not? I turned off the TV for the last time in 1999.
....This Sunday, and every Sunday for the month of April, turn off Meet The Press. Dont DVR it, dont watch it later, dont let anyone in your house watch it. You wont miss it, but you will send a message.
That is completely ridiculous. MSNBC gets paid by cable providers regardless of how much it is watched and many advertisers are willing to spend money propping up a propaganda network which servers their interests. The whole beast needs to be cut including the Federal government, their Chicomm allies, the Fed, the big banks, and large corporate sponsors of the networks.
At least start by consuming like a conservative. That means no cable TV, just download only what you need to watch.
I use Opera, and also FireFox for when I want to download a vid, and they both have add-ons that can help with this. Ghostery, AdBlocker, and AdBlockerPlus are available for both browsers and quite effective at stopping annoying ads and popups.
NoScript is as well, but only offered on FireFox. Give them a try! Makes quite a difference, I must say.
Thank you! I will look into all of your suggestions, some great info!
For a page you frequently visit, if there is an embedded ad such as "Joe's Heating -best prices" for example, one of the addons allows you to right click on it and select: Block An Ad On This Page.
Just be careful not to allow a too aggressive setting, as this can block some webpages entirely that require an ad be displayed before the rest of that page will fully load.
