AMAZING. Hollywood just killed God, and almost no critic noticed how it quietly slipped a green human-hater in his place.
I never thought you could make a two-hour film about Noah and his ark without mentioning God even once, but director Darren Aronofsky has managed it in his $142 million epic, which opened last week.
His Noah, played by a muttering Russell Crowe, prays to a different deity, a much nastier one called the creator who seems to brood on global warming.
Hey, what a coincidence! So does Aronofsky, who last year declared, climate change as an enemy of the people. So does Crowe, tweeting in most unbiblical language: F--- denial of climate change.
And in their film, Noah, they give us their creator, a vegetarian who really does want to f--- denial of climate change and put filthy humans in their place so, as Crowes Noah rasps, creation will be left alone safe. Beautiful.
As an agnostic, I should barely care which invisible being Crowe talks to, but this switcheroo is freaky.

I think the movie is afloat with money.
This putrid product of atheism/envirnazism needs to be flushed ASAP.
I think you’re on the wrong forum to be supporting this movie from an atheist, liberal, leftist, ‘green’, global-warming and enviro-whacko director!
This is just further proof that environmentalism is nothing but a religion replacing another religion. Amazing that the people on the left don’t see it for what it is.
Russell Crowe says “F” denial of climate change.
I say, “F” Russell Crowe!
And word of mouth killed the movie.
Hope they’ve got a good overseas market plan, as this will be off the marque in three weeks.
What’s more amazing is to find FREEPERS supporting this enviro-whacko stuff - by way of this movie and encouraging other Freepers to spend their money on it, thus supporting that agenda!
The whole point of lying about its being true to scriptural accounts is to get money out of the wallets of the productive people in this country.
Yet, people flock to it. The moronic general poupulation of this nation is not going to “wake up” until forced to by reality. Until then, they are just going to continue to lap up the lies fed to them by Hollywood and their iPhones (trans: Democrats).
Last year , the repubs should have forced the economy over the “cliff” and allowed to happen what was going to happen. We are going over one way or another. Seems like, that being a fact, it makes sense to go over while you have some strength left. This slow crawl to the edge just plays into the left’s hands.
More than anything else......it is booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!!
zz zz zz zz zz
We saw it this pat weekend.
"Let me just start by saying two words which you can accept as fair warning to avoid this stupidest movie in years: Rock People."Need more?
Nicolosi then goes on to rip apart the film, Hollywood, the media, liberal Christians who defend the movie, and...
"Oh yeah. And ROCK PEOPLE."
And Nicolosi's review eventually gets down to details:
"Here is a short list of some of the stupid story problems in Noah: (Is it possible to spoil a rotten thing? Well, be warned anyway)... "
And after discussing that list of problems, Nicolosi goes back to ripping up the movie some more:
"Oh yeah, and there is a ton of annoying, superior liberal preaching about how we should all be vegetarians, and that technology and cities are innately bad because they hurt the planet. Dumb, oversimplified liberal utopia nonsense."
Later, near the end of her review, Nicolosi notes:
"Galaxy Quest called. They want their rock people back."Nicolosi is referring, of course, to the more entertaining movie, "Galaxy Quest," and its rock people.
Thank you, as always, for doing the tedious and time consuming work.
I think you are misinterpreting his comment.
Hollywood sees how well Christian movies are accepted by the populace.
They would not dare make a Christian movie and praise God... so the solution is to make a movie portraying a story from the Bible. That will get people in the door. Now they have the canvas to spread their anti-God liberal crap under the veil of a “Christian” theme.
It’ll probably end up as the evangelical counterpart of “Last Temptation.” The bad movie nobody sees any more.
Rent a copy of the 1966 movie THE BIBLE with John Houston as Noah.
I have read almost every thread on the 'noah' film, and have yet to see any Freeper supporting it or recommending anyone else see it. Sure, there may have been a few 'uninformed' the first few days, but that got over quickly as word spread.
I believe it is the biggest marketing campaign in the history of mankind. And the anti-establishment, anti-capitalist hipsters spend their money on ‘green’ products by the billions.
