Note to Christians and those who believe the Bible: The producer of the movie Noah, a self-professed atheist, says he is proud of the fact that hes taken a story inspired by Gods word and turned it into something so secular.
Director Darren Aronofsky called his movie the least biblical biblical film ever made, The Telegraph reported. He also claimed his leading character, Noah, was the first environmentalist, something that suggests the movie storyline doesnt exactly follow the Bibles.
And something else the suggests a serious divergence from the biblical account: Not once during the movie is the name God spoken, an early reviewer found, The Telegraph reported.
Among the complaints is that the director paints Noah as more a man of the environment than a true follower of God.
The insertion of the extremist environmental agenda is a problem, said Jerry Johnson, the president of the National Religious Broadcasters group, in The Telegraph.

If you really want to kill this movie don’t give it free advertising.
If I post that there is ARSENIC in a particular product that people eat ... is that going to make you go out and buy it? ... :-) ...
If so ... then maybe we need you out of the gene pool ... LOL ...
An American Prayer
“Awake”
Shake dreams from your hair
My pretty child, my sweet one.
Choose the day and choose the sign of your day
The day’s divinity
First thing you see.
A vast radiant beach in a cool jeweled moon
Couples naked race down by it’s quiet side
And we laugh like soft, mad children
Smug in the wooly cotton brains of infancy
The music and voices are all around us.
Choose they croon the Ancient Ones
The time has come again
Choose now, they croon
Beneath the moon
Beside an ancient lake
Enter again the sweet forest
Enter the hot dream
Come with us
Everything is broken up and dances.
Yep.
Its a piece of garbage and I won’t spend a dime on it.
And Hollyweird wonders why few go to the movies anymore
Attaboy Darren
“There is only one thing worse than being talked about and that is NOT being talked about.” Oscar Wilde
The other interpretation of this is ‘there is no bad publicity’
However, I am not meaning for you to stop talking about it, but this is known in the business.
It makes people go see the movie. People are fools.
If Hollywood did to Mohammed what they did to Noah, there would be a lot of killing and not just the movie.
If YOU want people to stop talking about it, then STOP TALKING ABOUT IT!
Get off the thread!
Noah, was the first environmentalist.
Well, as I understand it, Noah had been proclaiming that the flood was coming because of the global warming that was occuring. He had been telling people to change their ways and stop using their SUVs. He even noticed a hockey stick that someone had invented so they could enjoy themselves after the flood with NHL. No one cared about his prediction because they were deniers, but he knew that climate change was about to begin. So he built his ark to protect himself and family. Then when the ark was lost in the water, it couldn’t be found the mathematical models of the currents weren’t correct because of climate change. This is why we don’t know exactly where it is, even though the search continues. - based on a true story.
Well he’s spot on there.
Wouldn’t watch this garbage for free, I wouldn’t even waste my time downloading a pirated copy that’s how horrible this movie is
Freepers have been pretty accurate in movie criticism. White House Down was trashed here. I saw it on Showtime and it was one of the top five worst movies I’ve seen.
Aronofsky may get a surprise. God can take a movie like this and touch many lives even with His name never mentioned.
He realizes the movie sucks, so hype it with controversy, right? This sounds like a desperate way to revive a D.O.A. movie.
Advice that would only apply on a forum where the majority were not predisposed to respect Christianity.
Since the posting is here, it doesn’t help the stinker out.
