Politics and Obama are wearing me down. So, I'm thinking of one of my favorite subjects and looking for some comments on remembering "the first time".

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's videos look like a cross betweem Tim Burton and Pee Wee's playhouse on acid.

I may get really messed up on guacamole tonight and put on Pinkard and Bowden’s Pink Haze/Green Acres medley. Unfortunately (fortunately?), it’s not available on YouTube.

It was about 1949 or 50. I was about 9, Willie was maybe 18 years old. I heard him on the radio, one of those old big ones and I was madly in love. It was a live broadcast and I don’t remember the song he sang, I just remember that it was wonderful.
I lost track of him for many years but when I found him again he had long hair and a shaggy beard. I have only heard him sing once in person, 2 or 3 years ago and he was still fabulous!

I. Did. Not. Know. That.
Thank you very much. I've added it to iTunes.
I assume Pinkard and Bowden still get credit for "Mail Order Dog," "Help Me Make It Through the Yard," "Let's Put the X Back in Christmas," "Blue Hairs Driving in My Lane," and other favorites?
