I am not how this affects Hobby Lobby and what the US SCOTUS is considering on Hobby Lobby.

Initially posted to Front Page because:

Victory over Obamacare

Claim it is a permanent exclusion for Catholic organizations.

Probably a Good Baptist Judge who made the decision (my opinion)...

Why only Georgia and not the other 49 (or 56) states?

Depends on how narrowly the SCOTUS 0bamacare ruling is made. If it allows the mandate and is very broad, the next Federal Appeals Court up the line will overturn this verdict. If it’s narrowly ruled, this case might also wind up in the Supreme Court eventually. For now, it only affects Federal District 11, which is AL, GA and FL.

This likely won't affect HobbyLobby at all. First, it's a lower court ruling, likely in a completely different area from where Hobby Lobby filed their case. And mainly, there's this:

U.S. District Judge William Duffey ruled Wednesday that the federal government cannot force Catholic schools, hospitals or charities...

a) They aren't Catholic, the closest I can find is they are 'Christian', either Baptist or non-denominational.
b) Hobby Lobby is not a school, hospital, or charity.

My worry is that Catholics, biased toward socialism and the Democratic Party, once freed from the mandate, will simply go along with the rest.

November is a long way off.
