A reporter has been detained by Capitol Hill police for trying to ask a question of Environmental Protection Agency administrator Gina McCarthy.
Bloomberg BNA energy reporter Ari Natter tweeted about being detained.
#transparency RT @AriNatter: I am being detained by Capital Police for trying to ask @EPAGina a question after her remarks.

Natter was detained while covering the American Council On Renewable Energy conference, where McCarthy spoke. Also speaking at the conference was Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, a staunch supporter of green energy who regularly takes the Senate floor to sound the alarm on global warming.
McCarthy spoke about renewable energy issues, including the EPAs proposal to cut back the amount of ethanol...

This will be nothing if they take away our guns. It will rapidly descend into a hard tyrrany where no questions may be asked of the king or queen and execution will be imminent (which could easily come in the form of a needle),
Papieren, Bitte! ...............
That is the first have read of the epa having that proposal on the table. That is good news.
After they found he wasn't just a citizen peon asking a government official questions. The title of this should be "And so it continues.."
By speaking he exceeded his carbon emission limits.
Ummm, if they try to take the guns it will descend into civil war, and end with their execution at dawn.
Dovetails with how they want to redefine who is a reporter, who is shielded, and who may ask questions.
They aren’t getting the guns.....peacefully.
I believe these current fascist pushes, as in CT and NY are only hardening the resolve of the gun owners in this country. More and more gun owners are coming to realize that these statists are not going to stop with restrictions and registrations. That it has never been their intention of stopping with registration.
Moreover, they are also finally realizing that registration is ONLY for the purpose of later confiscation. That confiscation is the ultimate goal. No, let me be completely accurate here. Confiscation is not the final goal, it is the last step to be completed *before* the ultimate goal. That goal is complete despotism and slavery. And *if* they get the guns, despotism and slavery will follow, guaranteed.
Thanks barmag25.
I read the article - WHAT WAS THE QUESTION?
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
What about CT?
It may be that CT is the trial run
for imposing it on the rest of the several states.
> What about CT? It may be that CT is the trial run for imposing it on the rest of the several states.
I think that’s exactly what CT is. I think they did their research and chose a state that was most suitable for their purposes then executed their test to see what the public’s reaction would be within the state and abroad. This is like a clinical trial test they do on drugs. Its very important for people to make ut known what their feelings are because if there is no pushback i can almost certainly guarantee they will move from state to state until they can use the bandwagon mentality snd try to get the weaker minded population who has no clue why they really want to do this behind them.
^ I think the non-gunners need to be educated about what has happen historically when citizens were disarmed, the focus needs to be shifted toward the behavior of the shootings being caused by the shooter not by the gun, and last, the positive and tun aspects of gun ownership. Its not time for the NRA to go to sleep at the wheel.
I advocate shooting the bureaucrats who man the registration stations. Make it so none of their loyal peons want to do the rubber-meets-the-road work.
Some people would balk saying that my solution is murder and/or sedition, but as I see it those people (and those giving them instructions) are the domestic enemies of the Constitutions for both their State and the federal government. [I was in the National Guard, and am sworn to uphold both the Constitution for the US and the constitution of NM.]
Relevant portions of the CT Constitution:
ART 1, SEC. 1. All men when they form a social compact, are equal in rights; and no man or set of men are entitled to exclusive public emoluments or privileges from the community.
ART 1, SEC. 2. All political power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority, and instituted for their benefit; and they have at all times an undeniable and indefeasible right to alter their form of government in such manner as they may think expedient.
ART 1, SEC. 7. The people shall be secure in their persons, houses, papers and possessions from unreasonable searches or seizures; and no warrant to search any place, or to seize any person or things, shall issue without describing them as nearly as may be, nor without probable cause supported by oath or affirmation.
ART 1, SEC. 9. No person shall be arrested, detained or punished, except in cases clearly warranted by law. (see Art 1, sec 15)
ART 1, SEC. 15. Every citizen has a right to bear arms in defense of himself and the state.
Better to aim higher....
You mean the politicians and high-level bureaucrats?
They should be publicly hanged.
