Way back in the 1980’s the classified project I worked on got a security briefing by the FBI giving a general picture of the security situation at the time. They presented convincing evidence that (among other things) the KGB was bankrolling the then nascent LGBT movement. If a group got their name in the paper for something they’d get an anonymous donation ranging from the hundreds to the thousands of dollars. The larger the group the more money they got. The objective was to destroy the family unit. It was an attack on the pillars of American society. I’m certain Putin would be aware of the corrosive effect as that’s what was intended. It’s almost humorous that Russia is now under attack by the very monster they created.

I think what drives the liberal media absolutely bonkers is the “political correctness” assault that they have used successfully for the last decade to destroy anybody that disagrees with their leftist agenda in the United States and Western Europe doesn't do squat for them in Russia.
