When I first got here (going on four years now) I had to carry around a "Strine" book (Aussie slang) just to be able to communicate with some of the locals. Usually they'd be having me on but when I caught on I gave back as good. Yank gal speaking Strine - and that's 'fair dinkum' LOL

Ta f'now.

“fair dinkum”

My cousin has been to Australia and came back saying “fair dinkum” but he won't tell me what it means. If you will tell me I will surprise him next time I see him.
