It must be painful to Gloria that the woman who accomplished the most politically in modern times is Phyllis Schlafly.

Gloria’s Equal Rights Amendment was sailing through the ratification process and seemed unstoppable. But then Phyllis and her STOP ERA ladies out fought the self-styled feminists and stopped the additional states from ratifying the amendment to the constitution and even had three states rescind their ratification.

She has been irrelevant for at least 30-35 years. Why is someone writing about her now. Did she die?

A Birthday that would not exist if her mother had felt the same way about having a baby as she does.

Back in her day, though.. the girl was easy on the eyes. Too bad radical politics grabbed hold of her soul.

Scrappy and smart and gutsy and generous — Gloria Steinem

What? This broad financed Ms Magazine from the deep pockets of her boyfriend, who propped the failing business up as a hobby for his Gloria.

Really, it wasn't her brains made her "successful". Go south a couple of feet of that to find her real money-maker.

So she had an early interest in show-biz, huh?

Can we really be so sure that her stint as a Playboy Bunny was the RESEARCH she so rigorously claimed as a Feminist..?

She has brains, sure, but my guess is that she probably made that up after she soured on that line of work.

She must be so proud of all of the millions of abortions she helped foster.
