The real shock here is how easy it is to rip off the Welfare system. Here we have people who cleary exceed the income level and don’t live in the state. Yet they are able to lie to get benefits and apparently no one follows up or checks for years. The whole system is a scam that needs to be shut down, just like most other government transfer payment systems.
So how do they afford a million dollar yacht?

Exactly. I suspect there is not too much oversight in Social Security either. Countless sums of money are being automatically deposited in the accounts of now deceased people for the spending pleasure of their dishonest relatives.
And most veterans have to fight like hell to get service connected disability(ies) rated properly.
