Nabisco added its voice to the current trend of forcing liberal social agendas by producing a commercial for their Honey Maid graham crackers and Teddy Grahams snacks showing a homosexual couple raising two children with a voiceover stating "this is wholesome."
The ad begins with a father bottle feeding his baby as another father slips in to kiss the baby's forehead. The commercial then meanders through a montage of families: mixed race, single dad, tattooed dad, military dad, and two dads. The voiceover says:
No matter how things change, what makes us wholesome never will. Honey Maid -- everyday wholesome snacks for every wholesome family. This is wholesome.
On their YouTube page, Honey Maid explains:
Today we celebrate all families. From working moms to two moms; stay at home dads to single dads; adopted kids to surrogate kids. Honey Maid recognizes that the reality of family has changed, but the wholesome connections that all families share will endure.
The two dads also got their own mini documentary.
Nabisco joins Coca Cola and Chevrolet in specifically marketing homosexuality.
Gotta remember whose legacy is being remembered. A shell Christianity which is a list of morals with no Savior actually won’t end up honoring the Lord. God will not excuse and will chasten, but will also generously forgive.
By all means Nabisco should be rebuked for doing this, but Nabisco also isn’t Satan. It can turn to wisdom. And if it does, encouragement to continue on that path should by no means be withheld.
They are among the protected class these days. No questions asked.
Tell me again why we should worry about Putin?
Penney sabotaged itself not through boycott but through lousy marketing. Those know-it-all “gays” didn’t.
The appropriate remark is more: ask Disney.
Dads Cookies
And
Doo Dads (soon to be two dads)
Fudgee-O Cookies (soon to be Fudgee-O packers-crackers)
All sound suspect to me.
Hear hear!
Lol ... beat me to it. What about the "bacon dippers"!
JCPenneys is closing all its stores that are within 100 miles of where I live. Iron Mountain, MI, Marquette, MI, and Rhinelander WI. Since I am gluten free much of the foodstuff I do not buy from name brand manufacturers.
There were complaints about the aroma of baking bread!
To hell with Nabisco.
Sorta the same with VW and the plant they had in Greensburg. Took as much federal, state and local tax subsidies as they could then bailed when it ended. Oh and SONY too.
The problem actually wasn't the the companies, it was the Big Government Social Programs that fostered the incompetence/corruption.
I’m not touching any of those products! No way, no how!
Well, let the “wholesome” homosexuals buy Nabisco products. I sure won’t be.
Absolutely. Nabisco products are off my buy list.
They were probably thinking the gay lovin’ obamas would back off the fattening junk food Nabisco is selling.
I am not thinking as deep as you guys.. just hate giving my money to outfits making a mint off capitalism while trying their darndest to destroy it..
I will buy this fag crap as wholesome WHEN HELL FREEZES and I will suffer sanction for it WHEN HELL FREEZES.
no Nabisco
no Guiness
I understand your point, but the adoption of girls is not uncommon.
I never even thought about them adopting until I encountered a particularly ugly one on another issue - smoking bans on private property. At the time he was a major name in the anti-smoker brigade, however I was unaware of his activism on gay adoption because it wasn't my issue - until he informed me (and the "world")he and his "partner" were more fit parents to their adopted daughters than my husband and I were to our natural daughter because they didn't smoke and we did.
Fudgee-O Cookies .......
The ride down always goes a lot faster than the climb up.
The nonsense is expecting the world system to be “Christian” in the first place. “Eat anything sold in the market without raising questions of conscience?”, per Paul...when abject paganism ruled the day.
Dead religion eats from the “good” side of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and Jesus attacked it repeatedly. So much liberation to be found in His words “It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”
