Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney this week campaigned in Idaho for Gov. Butch Otter and Rep. Mike Simpson, who have primary battles against tea party challengers, to prevent the GOP from veering "wild right."
"I'm here today in Idaho . . . to make sure people understand that the people I'm standing with right here are the right team of conservative leaders to help the people of Idaho," Romney said, according to NPR.

According to David Adler, director of the Andrus Center for Public Policy at Boise State University, Romney's purpose in the state is to help with voter turnout and to keep the Republican Party from veering "into the wild right, which will hurt Idaho and hurt America."
Adler said that voter turnout is key for establishment Republican candidates because "the assumption [is] that there are more moderate members of the GOP then there are hard right wingers."

RINO magic underwear fest?
Funny how hard and aggressively Romney ran a campaign against republicans during the primary.
Then bent over and grabbed his ankles for zer0.
He was suppose to lose. That was the plan.

The GOP made an enormous mistake allowing Romney to crowd out Sarah, and is still paying the price.
America Romney is a good guy. He’s a good American and a good leader, but KEEP HIM OUT OF POLITICS.
We need to capture the GOP.
I will vote for Sarah Palin.
To: Vaquero
That was the plan.
I believe it was McCain's plan, too. Mitt can stuff it.

If these clowns were “conservatives” they would not be opposed by Tea Party AND they would not be supported by the Mittster. Simple as that.
To: greyfoxx39
I know “wild right” has nothing to do old socialist meaning, so someone should force Romney and company to tell us what they mean when they say it. Doe’s it mean smaller government, reformed tax solutions, job creation, equal rights for non sexual perverts, and a respect for human life? All that is really wild. We could add paying down the debt, and stopping the destruction of our healthcare system to that. Scary huh? Another word for wild rightists, is average American. We must be stopped.

Romney is so clueless that he can’t establish the connection between his election failure and his rejection of the dreaded “tea party” label.

Oh shoot! Dumb me forgot to identify the biggest fear Romney and his ilk have of the “wild right.” We missed the consensus memo from the radical climate kooks.

They all do it. Butter won't melt in their mealy mouths when they talk about their real opponents (or presumed real opponents) the 'rats, but they find their tongues when it comes to conservatives running against the GOPe. McCain has never said anything like "you don't have to afraid of a Cruz Senate seat" like he did for that obvious from the get-go lying anti-American Obozo. Romney couldn't get his brain or his spine in gear when it came to criticising Hussein's policies and corrupt administration, when he lost he fell off the landscape-now that real conservatives are storming the gates of their club, Romney comes out from political cover to put his 2 cents in. They all do it. Really makes tou think they have something more at stake than a congresssional seat if they lose, like the ability to help the 'rats put over tyrannical policies while making noises purportng to be "opposition".

2016.
Just you wait. She was ready to run last time. At the very last minute, she backed off.
Granted she will need to stand up and make an extra run to get those of whom, she alienated by backing out at the very last moment, but she will win if she runs.
I am 100% on her side.
