Jeb Bush Praises Illegal Immigrants As 'Risk Takers,' Defends Common Core
Breitbart ^ | Mar 21, 2014 | Tony Lee

In a speech Friday, Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush praised illegal immigrants as "risk takers" who embody the entrepreneurial spirit of America and doubled down on his defense of Common Core.

According to the Miami-Herald, Bush made his remarks in front of business leaders in Florida.

“People who come here legally and illegally are the risk takers,” Bush reportedly said. “If you’re living in a rural area of Guatemala and you come, you’re a bigger risk taker than those who stay,” he added.

Of course, the first action of those who come to the country illegally is breaking the law.

Bush also said he was the "Eat Your Broccoli Governor" and implied he would be telling conservatives to embrace policies like amnesty and Common Core, which is reminiscent of former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman's all-in approach to global warming during his failed 2012 presidential campaign.

Bush accused those opposed to the Common Core as embracing the "status quo."

“You tell me which society is going to be the winner in this 21st Century: The one that worries about how they feel, or the one that worries about making sure the next generation has the capacity to eat everybody’s lunch?” Bush stated.

If it is such a risk, why do so many people want to come here.

TDY to Sicily with the AF, and all the young guys ever wanted to talk about was coming to America to meet a pretty blonde girl.

People who sneak into another country are not “risk takers”, except in the sense that they are/should be risking jail or deportation, and I don’t see anything admirable about that-they are illegals, period...

quote “You tell me which society is going to be the winner in this 21st Century”

easy one! the society that wins will be the one that closes it’s borders and no longer lets invaders from the 3rd world pore across. Thus insuring the stability of its culture and abundant resources for it’s current for future generations.

Jeb Bush outs himself as "part of the problem" and most definitely "not the solution". He'll get less primary support than Mitt Romney did ... the first time in 2008.

Any Bush equals a no vote and that includes Prescott, Jeb’s son, in the future.

Take note Jeb:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3135632/posts

In a stunning upset, the York County businessman, taking a stand against the state’s political establishment of both parties, made state history by winning a special election for the Pennsylvania state Senate — in a write-in landslide, defeating both the Republican and Democrat nominees.

Wagner captured 48 percent of the vote. His Republican opponent, a state representative with the backing of the local and state GOP, received 27 percent; the Democrat 26 percent.

The CONSERVATIVE won a a write-in landslide while the Republican garnered 27% of the vote and the DUmmycRate garnered 26%.

Wagner won because there is NO EFFING DIFFERENCE between a RATpublican and A DUmmycRat.

Difficult to believe/accept that societal benefits result just by being a risk taker. Seems you would have to include bank robbers as best examples. This is good representation that people like Jeb Bush are too mealymouthed to have any substantial core values.

I’m gonna go out and rob a bank this afternoon!

You're not robbing a bank - you're making an undocumented withdrawal. Perfectly legal.

Absolutely right-—such undocumented withdrawals show a high level of risk taking and would be firmly admired by the wonderful Jeb Bush. The non bank robbers (and therefore non risk takers) should be levied a fee to fund such undocumented withdrawals.

Goodbye arrogant horse’s ass. We have enough of that on the Democrat side and I’m sick of listening to it from the political elite.
