Buying their ink cartridges sure makes me want to run right out and get one of these.
I thought I was on a 3Dee printer ping list, but can’t find it in my history.
The main limitation for me is the print envelope size. It’s a Prusa Mendel variant of the RepRap. But it is an interesting first step — and cheap enough to hobby on.
The printer will be free.
The cartridges will be $2000.........................

Not sure why I need to know they are going to announce “SOMETHING” in three months.
This is so the feds can require them to include micro printed identities on any printed gun parts.
Probably be garbage like their laptops.
The good news: The HP 3D printer will cost only $99.
The bad news: Replacement spools of feedstock material will cost $150 each, and last for an average of 1.5 items of 1000 CC in volume.

I hate HP. I will never buy an HP product. Their business model for ink is rapacious of their customers. F*** HP.
$59.95 for the printer, but the “ink” lasts for half a project and costs $500 bucks for a pound of it.
