Buying their ink cartridges sure makes me want to run right out and get one of these.

I thought I was on a 3Dee printer ping list, but can’t find it in my history.

The main limitation for me is the print envelope size. It’s a Prusa Mendel variant of the RepRap. But it is an interesting first step — and cheap enough to hobby on.

This is so the feds can require them to include micro printed identities on any printed gun parts.

The good news: The HP 3D printer will cost only $99.

The bad news: Replacement spools of feedstock material will cost $150 each, and last for an average of 1.5 items of 1000 CC in volume.

I hate HP. I will never buy an HP product. Their business model for ink is rapacious of their customers. F*** HP.

$59.95 for the printer, but the “ink” lasts for half a project and costs $500 bucks for a pound of it.
