Talk about a guy who could pick a fight in a phone boothif there were phone booths anymore . . .
On today's Daily Rundown, in a conversation about charter schools, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel repeatedly insulted host Chuck Todd, suggesting he was ignorant about charter schools, was "backward" looking, and that being in Washington had affected "your brain." Todd generally took it in stride, but after one insult couldn't suppress a "wow" of amazement at Rahm's rudeness.

Rahm could give Don Rickles lessons in insulting people. Ping to Today show list.
This is Rahm “Dead Fish” Emanuel we are talkin’ about here....
I am not surprised, he has spent his whole life auditioning for “inner circle” position in the USSA....
Rickles was funny.
Chuck Todd is a moron, his questions were all teacher’s union based crap.Hate to say it but Rahm’s answers seemed reasonable.
He’s a Marxist thug and a punk just like his brother and the rest of the Clinton/Obama cesspool of reprobates. None of them humors me in the least.
I watched that too and found myself agreeing with Rahm. WITH RAHM.
At least Don Rickles knew it and didn't take himself seriously. I once saw him on TV saying that the Japanese were so polite--everywhere he went they kept saying "Ah-so!"
LOLOL
Rahm = SPFO - Sock puppet for obama.
One of the only defensible things he has done as mayor is to take on the teachers' unions.
50 years of dismal failure is enough.
Still is.
Rahm and his brother Ezekial are blinded to reason and reality by their arrogance. The just Know that they’re special, and it irritates them when the rest of the world isn’t ‘keeping up’ and recognizing them for the geniuses whom they think they are.
Rim shot!
I did mention in the blog that on substance but not style I agreed with Rahm.
John Gibson had Ezekiel Emanuel on his 18 March radio show. Emanuel's normal mode is belligerence when outside his New Left Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brat realm.
Screaming "Lies!" at virtually everything Gibson reported from abundant news sources Emanuel went on to claim that any criticism is solely because people do not yet understand the marvel of Obamacare. "Read my book!" he demanded. "Give it time! "
The antics are the tactics of Mau-mauing used by New Left Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats a generation ago.
As comical as most Monty Python Flying Circus skits.. it's like an Obama jivethon lying circus.
Rahm seems to forget that he was deep in that “thin air of Washington” not so long ago. Both he and his brother are among the rudest people I have ever heard. Chicago didn’t do itself any favors by electing him mayor. Yes, the teacher’s unions are out of control but then most unions are. I hear so much about the failing schools in Chicago these days but I can attest that as a graduate of the Chicago schools (albeit more than 50 years ago - 1958 to be exact) I received a very good education. It’s a shame that such deterioration has happened since.
I got a bunch of crap on here the other day by defending Rahm’s position on teachers unions, and Bruce Rauner’s support for it. Rauner believes in charter schools and has put his own money on the line to support them, and Rahm has made some public union bosses very unhappy with him. But Rahm isn’t dumb, and he can do the math...
As Rauner said, he’s supported the right ideas and sometimes that meant supporting a democrat because every Republican was too cowardly to go out and publicly support things like charter schools.
On the other hand, the leading challenger to Rauner, career republican politician Kirk Dillard, not only doesn’t support non-union schools but he actually accepted the ENDORSEMENT of AFSCME! When the public employee unions endorse a Republican, you know what’s going on ...
I agree with you.
Actaully I thought Chuck Todd was the nastier of the two. He was just pushing the tachers unions points and wouldnt let his guest talk. everything Rahm said was the truth.
