I agree. Tt would tell the gop they need the conservative base to win and that the liberals will never vote for them no matter what.

Cornball did NOT score easily in Tx. He did not even get 60% of the vote.

For an incumbant, that is terrible.......and that was with only 10% of eligible voters...Cornyn only got 59.44% of the vote with the remainder split amongst seven hopefuls with one getting 19.33% and another 10.71%.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

McCornyn has been put on notice.

On notice?? LOL!

Might as well put him on "double secret probation".

He's SENATOR now... for 6 more years. He won't care at all what the people of Texas think for the next 5.5 years.

Don’t give up; anything can happen between now and the Primary in May.

This can work both ways. The Liberal Pubbies could get over confident and not bother to vote in the numbers they normally would. Like I said in an earlier thread: Anything can happen between now and the Primary Election Day in May. You just never know. Don't give up hope completely.
BTW, can someone tell me: Are the "Ditch Mitch" signs still up in KY?

But, during the 2008 crisis, he told investors in a letter that the TARP bailout was
an "effective policy". I'm not sure those two positions are entirely contraindicative...
Wasn't Bevin a Sr. employee (an board member?) ...
of the firm and HAD to sign the certified documents?

Well it looks like Mitchie may get to be majority leader.

Not necessarily. I’ve been beating around the bush and saying: “Don’t give up; anything can happen before the GOP Primary Election Day.” But, I’ll just come right out and say it. It sounds terrible to say this, but, old codgers like Mitch McConnell, Pat Roberts and Thad Cochran could have a stroke and be in a wheel chair and adult diapers drooling by the time their Primary rolls around. Or, they could go on home to that big Senate Cloak Room in the sky. Their Primary opponents will just need to practice looking sad upon receiving the news.
(No, I don’t feel bad about saying that!)

Yes... but that's harder to say in a 30 second commercial. Anyway... some things might be good for a specific group of investors, and still be bad for the country and/or against what YOU would do if given an option.

No question.... People still don't really know much about Bevin. Despite all the ads in the air, people are NOT focusing on the election yet.

Turnout is likely to be puny in this election too. So, a concerted Get Out the Vote effort could make a difference. I'll be helping with that.

yeah..and since, Matt's campaign is somewhat "under
financed" makes it very difficult to go statewide.

perhaps he'll (MM) just croak and save the state the embarrassment
won't matter though; even in death, he'd still vote 'rat..either way, KY loses.
