MH370? The satellite image of a plane flying over the Andaman Island uncovered by an Indian IT expert who claims it is of the missing Malaysian Airlines flight.
Those Reds are a bunch of troublemakers, huh...
Post 34 suggests otherwise. I have seen chromatic effects in the shadow of an airliner before, so that explanation could have merit.
Thanks for nothing. Is that heading north, south, east?? My point is that if we know the approximate time of day and the direction toward the sun we should be able to determine the direction of flight.
By the way, I am a retired AF pilot....
Second thing I looked for was a shadow. What are the odds that the plane was lined up just right as to not throw a shadow?
It’s an animated gif...[img src=”link to image”] (and replace [ and ] with < and >.
The blur is caused by the plane moving through the satellites camera viewing. It’s a common photo effect. You can see them on Google Earth all the time.
I AM the walrus.
I could be the walrus, I’d still have to bum rides off of people.
Flight 370 would have passed the Andamans at oh dark thirty and this looks like a daylight pic unless it’s a color corrected infrared.
Or maybe it is a completely different plane.
The shadows from the trees show the sun to the south. The shadow from the Partridge Family plane shows the sun to be more overhead and to the north. The white plane has no shadow
Also, the white plane looks like it is on a heading slightly more to the north than the Partridge’s plane. At speed, they would have moved apart very quickly.
i can’t get the smile off my face
On Google Earth or Google Maps, enter "50.9017 -127.7077"
The "shadow" leads the aircraft!
How about we police you instead.
Be my guest. I don’t need it but the other guy does. Suit yourself. You don’t sound very impartial. Is the other guy your buddy?
Isaac Yeffet, who served as head of global security for Israels national carrier in the 1980s and now works as an aviation security consultant in New Jersey, told Times of Israel investigators were correct in honing in on the two fake-passport carrying Iranian passengers on the doomed flight, and they have wasted valuable time by exploring other leads.
What happened to this aircraft, nobody knows. My guess is based upon the stolen passports, and I believe Iran was involved, he said. They hijacked the aircraft and they landed it in a place that nobody can see or find it.
So do you think he would have been allowed to say this if there were not intelligence sources involved that also had this concern/belief?
They're not like us with dingheads like Lurch and McCain spouting this or that thing here and there on a whim.
Nope - but your are - for the next 3 days.
