I think were in for a tsunami-type election in 2014, Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus told the audience at Tuesday mornings Christian Science Monitor breakfast in Washington, D.C. Looking ahead to this falls midterm elections, Priebus boldly predicted big gains for the GOP, especially in the Senate.
My belief is, its going to be a very big win, especially at the U.S. Senate level, and we may add some seats in congressional races, Priebus predicted. But I need to and we need to at the RNC make sure that we can capture the positives and the benefits weve been able to provide in 2014 and build on that to have success in 2016, which is a very different type of election.

Reince Priebus predicts big win for GOP in 2014
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Why does he still have a job?
Even bigger than 2010.
If you say so, Rinse.
what do you know Rinse?
You want to bet that there is nothing they can do? Depends upon the size of the win. We take over the Senate, change the rules, pass veto-proof legislation, begin impeachment steps, etc., etc., etc.

And without a dime of my money...All of my money is going to candidates that hate amnesty, love the military (troops), and love this country and will not compromise their integrity for popularity or easy cash.
It’s a short list, but my list none-the-less.
‘My belief is, its going to be a very big win’
Either that or Americans are collectively insane.
Personally, I wouldn’t bet money either way.
... and you’ll have little to do with it, Reince. Prediction for the result... we take the Senate and keep the House... but we can’t really do anything without the White Hut because Obama will just veto everything. So, let’s get geared up for 2016...!
Thus instead of coming up with a plan to fix the economy, they are likely to accept the win and then out democrat the democrats again.
Since the “gop-e” can’t seem to find someone to market their message, sadly, I ain’t gonna hold my breath. I’ll do what I can and hope it’s enough.
good news if you’re a RION-saurus
“We take over the Senate, change the rules, pass veto-proof legislation, begin impeachment steps, etc., etc., etc.”
AMEN, Sister! A-MEN!
We don’t have the House, Senate or Presidency. As soon as we get any one of those we will be able to do something.
We just have the House. We don’t have the Senate or the Presidency. Once we get both the House and Senate, we will finally be able to do something. But we have to be cautious and not do or say anything controversial if we are ever to win the Senate.
Well, we have the House and Senate! But in order to have any influence we need to give Obama pretty much everything he wants. That way we won’t be controversial, people will like us, then we’ll win the Presidency and then we can really change things.
Finally, we have the House, Senate, and the Presidency. But you know, the Supreme Court sometimes leans liberal, so we have to be very careful we don’t do anything too conservative that might get overturned. Also, there is an election in a few years and this would really be a bad time for us to do anything controversial. We should stay the course and work with our Democrat partners whenever possible. Then people will like us and we will get reelected. That is what it is all about, right? Getting reelected and being good, responsible team-players in the system.
Frankly I think that's only because the DNC wanted it that way, to provide the scapegoat for Obama.
What’s a Reince Priebus?
It’s a ‘funny’ name, but he’s OUR ‘funny’ name.
