Former Massachusetts Gov. and 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney penned a scathing critique of President Obamas foreign policy in the pages of the Wall Street Journal Tuesday, saying the administration has failed to seize the moment took to intervene in crises around the globe, most recently in Russia and Ukraine.

I think Ted Cruz would've long since put our anti-missile shield in Eastern Europe, brought the Ukraine into NATO, and wouldn't have gutted the military...or allowed homos to serve openly. I also think he wouldn't have flapped his gums making empty threats about "red lines" in Syria and Libya, his support for Israel would be staunch, and would've had an immediate response to Benghazi, while the shooting was still going on. I don't think there would have been four dead Americans there if Ted Cruz had been calling the shots that night...pun intended.
Speaking of Benghazi, I would hope that Cruz would put Marines back in our embassies and consulates across the world, and to hell with whatever the "host" country thinks. It's American sovereign territory, and America's best should be protecting it.
At least that's what I hope President Cruz would/will do.
Dawg soldiers up!
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Ain't that the truth! I'm hoping t get down to Lake Powell for some good 4x4ing and bass fishing this summer.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Too bad that backstabber Mitt took time off from his statism to send his surrogates after the Palin family EVEN AFTER THE GOVERNOR WAS THE CANDIDATE.Ditto that!
And they were the same GOPe guys that McCain used for the SAME purpose when Palin was running with that old guy.
I notice the highly "trusted" GOPe advisor in the middle of all of that-- Steve Schmidt--is now a political advisor over at MSNBC, rubbing Matthews spittle into his cheeks, putting on a wig and flirting with that guy R. Maddow, and spewing his GOPe leftist talking points to try to marginalize all conservatives. What a tool, they love him over there.
It's all a matter of the right time for every step.
He took a part of Georgia a while back, and still has it.
He yearns for the old USSR (he says the disillusion of that oppressive regime was the worst thing that ever happened to the planet [paraphrase]) and is working on taking it all back and then some.
He hasn't backed away at all from the communist goal of world domination.
He's already got Obama in his back pocket. [Obama to Putin's lackey before the last election and after Putin was reelected: Tell Putin I will capitulate to his every whim when I am reelected...kind of whispered but caught on mike. Actual quote :"This is my last election," Obama told Medvedev. "After my election I have more flexibility."]
He talked about Russia being a geopolitical threat during the debate and of course obama, the rats and the media mocked him. The media controls the message -- obama good, R's bad.
“...At least that’s what I hope President Cruz would/will do...”
Spot on, brother. I’d hope for that too.
“...I don’t think there would have been four dead Americans there if Ted Cruz had been calling the shots that night...”
He’d have answered the damned phone call, unlike a certain worthless Secretary of State who’s job it was TO answer it.
Unfortunately, we have to deal with the here and now and the debacle that Emperor Nimrod The 1st and his worthless apparatchiki have caused right here.
Romney will run again.
I don’t want him to run. However, I would bet money on it.
Buuuuuump!
I like your response. It is funny.
My point in saying that Romney will run again, isn’t because I want him to run, but we Freepers should prepare for this likely possibility.
You got that right. He's a political vampire. He needs a stake driven through his political heart. He was bad news in 2012, and he's bad news now.
If I wanted what Romney has to offer, I'd vote Democrat.
What in hell is the point of voting Republican if pro government run health care, pro gay agenda, pro abortion, pro activist judge, pro global warming "leadership" is what you are voting FOR?
The only thing that counts is what you vote for. Democrats didn't vote "for" Obama, they were voting against the Republican. Republicans didn't vote "for" Romney, they were voting against Obama.
But a vote is ALWAYS and ONLY for something. PERIOD.
When everybody votes "against," everybody loses.
Romney's take on Russia aside, voting for Romney may be technically "Republican," but is FUNCTIONALLY LEFTIST.
BUMP TO THE TOP.
Palin 2008: Putin, having been motivated by Obamas lack of response to the Russian invasion of Georgia, would proceed to invade Ukraine if then-Senator Obama was elected to the presidency.
McRomneys a little late to the party.
Standing up cheering. SING IT LOUD.
Romney belongs in the Democrat party.
He's a friggin' vampire.
THAT ^^ needs to be the slogan, should this joker try to run again, in 2016.
As we watch the film we should ask ourselves: could we do the same today?
HUH, win a war...isn't that mean?
