But the judge then said that a ban on such firearms is justified in the states efforts to reduce violence, according to the Hartford Courant. Scary!

They never go after the violent criminals. They always go after the honest, non-violent people.
Why?
Cuz the non-violent people don’t vote democrat. Nuff said.

I heard it was Clint Eastwood who declared that peaceful, honest people turning in their guns is akin to getting castrated because your neighbor has too many kids!

My reaction to CT’s gun laws; rental storage in nearby Vermont and a permanent move to Idaho in three years. Better weather too.

"But the judge then said that a ban on such firearms is justified in the states efforts to reduce violence" In other words: The State is justified in its efforts to reduce violence by passing a law that may increase violence by the State.

On its Facebook page today, Connecticut Carry urges gun owners to write state legislators and tell them about how you feel about being disarmed in the face of these kinds events. Yep, that's helpful alright. So helpful that CT state legislators are going to turn those letters complete with name, address, etc.. right over to the CT State Police/law enforcement agencies as these gun owners self-identify who they are and where their guns reside.
