KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said Saturday that a missing passenger jet was steered off course after its communications systems were intentionally disabled and could have potentially flown for seven additional hours.

In the most comprehensive account to date of the plane’s fate, Najib drew an ominous picture of what happened aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, saying investigators had determined there was “deliberate action by someone on the plane.”

By now, Iran has put a fresh coat of paint on it, buried the bodies of the passengers in a mass grave and is loading the plane with nasties.

“They probably landed in a country with an extremely controlled media so that when it did land the outside world would not find out.”

Yeah they probably landed in the USA, they have long enough runways and well the media......!

Would not suprise me. In fact I’ll be shocked it they find that plane crashed in the ocean or the jungle.

Those two orange lines look like arcs on a circle. My guess is they indicate the coverage boundary of a sat that did NOT get a ping, and the assumption is the plane could not be anywhere ‘inside the circle’ formed by these arcs.

But it leads to two wildly different tracks, one going over lots of land that surely has radar coverage, and one going to the end of the earth.

My bet is a determination is made that the one sat malfunctioned or wasn’t set up to recieve the ping...and the orange tracks will go away....and they’ll be back looking at a straight west track over the Indian Ocean.

China has a tyrannical oppressive regime but per World War II experiences and even their own acts during the Cultural Revolution and Great Leap Forward, I do think if some foreign rogue or even other power, messed with their citizens, I have no doubt they would deal with such threats and acts in the harshest manners.

Maybe, but not likely.
Radar absorbent paint is hard to formulate with enough consistency to make a tri7 harder to detect.
Airport radars don’t do skinpaints, they detect the transponders signal.
Military radars would have no problem seeing the bird.
But the possibility of people being asleep at the wheel is always there.

Start with the pilot. He had just finished a huge remote control rig and boasted of it on the internet.

If the hijackers 1) sealed the cabin door, 2) ascended to 45000 feet, and 3) vented the passenger compartment, then all passengers are dead in a couple of minutes.

But don't the oxygen masks come down automatically in the case of loss of cabin pressure? Can the crew disable that as well?

Again just an idea

it was headed to Beijing the capital of China. ..and China is the new big boy in the world politics and world power

Now if we had the same thing happen to a plane headed to Washington DC ???

Would we think it was just any old plane they wanted and they just happen to picked a DC flight?

“My money is still on this being a hijacking for the plane itself”

Or the cargo.

I think they're on Fantasy Island.

Nah, I've been there, it was in L.A. but has now moved to the White House.

At this point, I am beginning to become a bit worried about this.

How many nations, have had how many people, searching everywhere for over an entire week now.

This is starting to look like a competently done hijacking. In fact quite competent.

Which makes me worry about the why.

Just saying, this is starting to be a tiny bit alarming.

Apparently fake passports aren’t that hard to come by. So who knows what was in the
mix but apparently the mentioned on this fight haven’t raised a lot of suspicion
from articles I’ve seen.

http://www.wbir.com/story/news/nation/2014/03/09/stolen-passports-used-on-malaysia-flight-are-common/6233301/

More than 40 million travel documents, mostly passports, have been reported stolen,
according to a database begun in 2002 — following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks
on the United States — by the France-based international law enforcement
organization Interpol.

I believe the assumption is 'accidental' loss of cabin pressure. If no effort is made by the captain to bring the plane lower seems emergency oxygen would run out. Anyone know how much oxygen is carried for passengers? In minutes of use?

People ask why steal a plane from Malaysia. Considering how Malaysia’s investigation is going, it shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Yep

And the followup question to that is:

Why would anyone want to fly a Malaysian plane ever again.

This is their worst nightmare -- one of their own pilots takes over the plane and kills all the passengers and disappears with it.

No wonder they were bringing in the Shamans in hopes of locating wreckage in the ocean below.

They are beyond damage control now.

I would think that Israel in particular is pretty well puckered up over this news.
