Considering its history as a “treatment” center for pedophile priests just how sacred is its memory to Catholics? Simple solution is if the money offered pans out, make the center profane again (I forget the word for turning sacred buildings back into profane buildings)and make sure it is known that it no longer has any church association.
I would write otherwise if this had been a church or even a parochial school or house for religious. But a use that could very well have been run by a secular organization? Not the hill to die on. Use the money for the sale to help poor parish members who need help with Catholic school tuition or paying the high fuel bills or other worthy requests.

1st amendment Freedom of Assembly means that the people are free to peaceably assemble and also free to not assemble. That includes doing business. These anti-discrimination laws are unconstitutional.
