President Barack Obama has finally admitted what many Americans worried about all along as Democrats in Congress pushed through Obamacare: they may not be able to keep their doctor.
barackobama8Obamacare opponents warned about death panels and health care rationing under Obamacare as the president and his Democratic allies pushed the legislation through Congress. Now that the implementation of Obamacare is in full swing, some of those concerns are coming to fruition as some patients like this man are almost dying because of the disastrous effects of Obamacare.
One of the many ways in which rationing occurs is by limiting a patient’s choice of doctor. In 2009, President Obama promised the American people they could keep their doctor under Obamacare.
Now, Obama is admitting that may not be the case. (transcript follows)
“For the average person, many folks who don’t have health insurance initially, they’re going to have to make some choices. And they might end up having to switch doctors, in part because they’re saving money,” Obama said in an interview with the medical website WebMD.
“But that’s true if your employer suddenly decides we think this network’s going to give a better deal, we think this is going to help keep premiums lower, you’ve got to use this doctor as opposed to that one, this hospital as opposed to that one. The good news is in most states people have more than one option and what they’ll find, I think, is that their doctor or network or hospital that’s conveniently located is probably in one of those networks. Now, you may find out that that network’s more expensive than another network. And then you’ve got to make a choice in terms of what’s right for your family.”
Contrast that with his words from July 2009: “If you like the plan you have, you can keep it. If you like the doctor you have, you can keep your doctor, too. The only change you’ll see are falling costs as our reforms take hold.”
Everything else is irrelevant.
That information is deemed safe for release now. The nugget about the US losing all voting rights will be made public in a couple of years..

After six long years this president cannot point to one single thing that he has done that has succeeded. The country is worse off by far since he took office. There is not one country on the globe that we have a better relationship with today than when Obama took office.
Our country is worse off. Our economy is worse off. Our foreign relations are worse off. The world is far more dangerous now.
Obama is, and has been, an utter disaster and there is no metric, there is no empirical evidence that proves otherwise. Only the emotionally invested will say that Obama’s term has been good for anything.
But didn’t Zeke Emanuel, tell is that in most cases, we don’t need a doctor. Ah, the brave new world of socialized medicine.
