Does the article say how they KNOW this information?
In 4hrs they could have flown nearly 2500 miles.
How do they know this? How can they know this? Unless they’re going off the Malaysian military radar. the transponder was switched off, so we have no idea if it blew up a minute later, or flew for hours.
If the plane did fly on for hours (and again, I don’t know how they could know this, since WSJ requires subscription), then the debris on the satellite image is a wild goose chase.
Sooooo where does that end them up??? Iran?
+4 hr @ 600 mi/hr -—> 1,000’s of miles.
Investigators pursuing notion the 777 was diverted "with the intention of using it later for another purpose." http://on.wsj.com/1lYx08l #MH370
A flight time of four additional hours after the 777 disappeared means #MH370 could have flown on for about 2,200nm http://on.wsj.com/1lYx08l
How far is 2,200nm is from #MH370's last known location? That would get the 777 as far as the India-Pakistan border. http://on.wsj.com/1lYx08l
If it wasn't true, it would read like bad fiction.
My post on another thread three days ago:
My non-conspiracy theory is that of a similar fate to golfer Payne Stewarts private jet crash in 1999. They lost cabin pressure and all passed out, but the plane flew for 1500 more miles before crashing in North Dakota.
It was not known why they lost pressure, but it was surmised it was so fast they did not have time to put on 02 masks.
So maybe a small meteor or some space object hit the plane and it was suddenly depressurized but kept flying itself, out of radar range, somewhere in the Pacific, until crashing.

Well that makes the hijacking theory more plausible..so where is the plane..Iran, India..is it going to pop up one day with a nuke on board and blow up over a major city
Geez - this is like watching an episode of The Twilight Zone
The latest on the China Satellite Images...
No debris found at spot shown on Chinese satellite images, Malaysia says

Missing Malaysia jet LIVE updates: Missing plane was airborne for 4 hours after last sighting, say US investigators
The pilot or copilot or someone in the cockpit could have shut off the transponder.
A total flight time of five hours after departing Kuala Lumpur means the Boeing 777 could have continued for an additional distance of about 2,200 nautical miles, reaching points as far as the Indian Ocean, the border of Pakistan or even the Arabian Sea, based on the jet's cruising speed.
