The Chinese government has released satellite images showing "a suspected crash area at sea," including "three suspected floating objects," near the flight's planned path. Taken Sunday morning but not made public until today, the blurry shots are located northeast of Kuala Lumpur, south of Vietnam, in what may be the most promising lead thus far, on the fifth day of a frustrating, otherwise fruitless search.
Waiting with baited breath. Can’t make out much from the images.
If Ed Snowden validates it, I’m on board....
Well, if they can “read a license plate” from space, they damn well should be able to find a city block-sized debris field in the ocean.
But isn’t this location back from where the last transmission was received?
Amelia???
I think the plane landed safely at some place that isn’t safe.
Prayers for the passengers and crew.
Nope, that’s Nessie.
Oh, gee, I'd think that might be a place to start looking... /S
they are reporting that it is near the oil rig (where the oil rig employee saw the flames in the sky) - see video here...http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/03/12/new-chinese-satellite-pictures-may-show-missing-malaysia-airlines-jet/

Well, you don’t think the chinese are really going to
release their best photos do you, Obama might but
not those guys.
Lessay I was a country that had just developed a nuke: Know what I’d want?
A DELIVERY SYSTEM.
And not just any delivery system —it would have to be one that could not only life a pretty heavy, non-miniaturized bomb but also somehow be STEALTHY:
Something my enemy would see as normal and innocuous and not an attacking plane.
Most people think the most expensive US weapon in WW2 was the atomic bomb, but that’s wrong:
It was the B-29 that delivered it.
I wasnt aware that crashed planes can leave craters in the water.
I think they’ve found it. Still unanswered questions though.
1. Was it a bomb?
2. Why were the Malaysians screwing around?
Someone was celebrating the unanimous election of a despot in NK and shot off a missile.
Have you looked at the history of the Manhattan Project?
How would you cost that effort into those 2 bombs.
The project was scattered all over the US. The largest research/engineering project ever undertaken by man.
What was the actual cost of the Plutonium in the Fat Man and the Uranium in Little Boy? None existed in pure enough form before the project.
Amazing stuff.
This is from a satellite? Looks as big as an island. If there is that much debris, there may be survivors.
