Marco Rubio came to Googles D.C. headquarters to talk about the economy not immigration. But when asked, he was certainly prepared to address the subject. During a question and answer session, Rubio was pointedly asked by CNSNews whether putting illegal aliens on a path to citizenship would help economic growth.
Thats just a fundamental decision the country will have to make. If the country decides they are prepared to incorporate 8 or 9 million people that violated our laws, the next question will be: Are you prepared to have 8 or 9 million people living among you that can live here permanently for the rest of their lives but never become citizens? Rubio said in his five-minute long answer of continued disagreement between the House and Senate on immigration reform.

Nicely put. Rubio never ceases his flimflam antics trying to mask his amnesty driven soul and beliefs.
I will NEVER support or be fooled by this creature again.
When are we going to have people in government who do stuff that helps citizens?
Someone should explain this to Rubio.
Google doesn’t hire illegals or Hispanics.
He would know this if he knew ANYTHING about Computer Science.
I’ve never figured out why criminal behavior should be rewarded with citizenship. I prefer the option of making it expensive to employ illegals, and unpleasant with a high probability of lots of prison time to commit crimes here, so that there is no reason to stay here illegally.
We should have immigration laws, and those laws should be enforced vigorously. If we want more immigrants (and I do if they are educated and hard-working), that should be accomplished through improvements to our legal immigration system, not through excusing criminal behavior.
i knew it! yesterday someone posted an article that highlighted an exchanged between Hannity and Coulter... Hannity said that Rubio had changed his mind on amnesty... and i thought, "WHAT??? WHEN???"
i knew he had not changed his mind... how could he just change his mind on something for which he had recently fought so hard?
However we handle the legal status of people who came here in violation of the law, who stayed here in violation of the law and who work here in violation of the law, why do we owe them more than humanitarian consideration?
We would be denigrating the value of citizenship and would be making a GRAVE moral mistake by granting any previously illegal alien the right to vote.
No work, no benefits, they will go home!
He certainly does dance around a touchy subject pretty well.
Like it or not he is miles better than having Charlie crist in the senate.
Dumb question, but why must it always be about a path to "citizenship"? Why can't these people who claim to care about illegals talk about a path to "legal residency" first? It would solve all of the so-called "problems" they claim we need to address -- all of the problems except for their desire to register more Democrat voters. But that's not what this is about, is it?
Can’t secure our borders and round up all the illegals and deport them, but by Gawdinheaven we can change the climate of the entire fricking world!
HEY RUBIO, WHAT ABOUT ME THE TAX PAYER??!
- Theodore Roosevelt
Rubio suffers from the not-so-rare GERALDO RIVERA SYNDROME.
Hispanics afflicted with the ailment may sound rational at times, but when the issue of amnesty arises they forget they are Americans and lose their ability to think rationally.
Any questions, folks?
Now it is “only” 8 or 9 million instead of the 11 million they have been using since the mid 1980’s....
It is at least 20 million plus they will bring in 5 of their family members.
