Something must be coming up in next day or so that ‘they’ don’t want to admit it should be passed SO, they will play some mind games for a couple of days, the bill will come to the floor and the LIBS will be tired and the ‘nasty R’s’ will push it through, taking advantage of the poor D’s who have been working hard for us - in fact 24 hours a day (IN THEIR SPEAK) anything over 8 hours for them clowns is considered being overworked....of course with what they are accomplishing, ‘WE THE PEOPLE’ are getting screwed either way.

I can’t help wondering if they perceive (through polling?) that Ted Cruz’s marathon speech really boosted him, and they’re trying to imitate it. This feeling was reinforced when I heard a sound bite on the local (Boston) news station of Ed Markey (D-MA) taking part by reciting a sort of take-off of Dr. Seuss . . .
When 30 democrats waste a night, fifteen minutes each, on a symbolic marathon over a non-issue that government cannot affect, it’s big news. When Ted Cruz does the same thing all by himself in a symbolic gesture to save our country from governmental overreach, it’s a joke.
Media bias is overwhelming.
To me this appears to be a bit of stagecraft aimed at their whacko base to soften the blow when Obama signs-off on the Keystone Pipeline on the tarmac in front of Air Force One just before jetting off for his July 4 holiday.
No one watched that counts!!! Viewer ratings were just like their Cable News Network, MSNBC!!! DOA!!! Not the positive response that Ted Cruz & Rand Paul got!!!
Well, since they’re in the minority, all they can do is talk instead of introduce legislation that will go nowhere.

Same BS different night. I was worried they would try and jam in some sort of surprise vote, say on that “Dr.” for Surgeon General. I thought “Slime ball Harry” would try it!
