On Fox and Friends this morning, Jim Kallstrom said this is nothing like the TWA flight that went down due to a center fuel tank explosion. How many people really buy that story?
Twenty employees of Freescale Semiconductor.
Not your typical splodey-plane scenario. Waiting 7 years is a bit much.
Two theories -
1. Additional travel would lower the suspicion of authorities. It's the one way tickets that get really scrutinized.
2. They were unwitting mules for devices they had no idea they were carrying or were convinced was something other than it was. The additional travel was booked to lower their suspicion.
What Kallstrom probably meant is that in this case there aren't a ton of witness stories that need to be buried. In that case, he's right - nothing like TWA 800.
No doubt the additional legs were made so as to not cast suspicion on just making a reservation for a one way ticket.
Could have been the first time they flew together and were of the same mindset. Could be that one overpowered the other.
Will know when they find the black box.
There was mentioned that both military and civilian radar indicated the plane may have attempted to turn around. They’re supposed to call in before they do that and there was no contact.
LOL; I remember hearing that one in the years after 9-11. Not having flown commercially since TWA800 (7/96), that’s a flight I’d take...
To travel through china without a visa, one needs a destination through.
Strange Malaysia Airlines should know what they did when they checked in with the airline..if they were just going to be passing through or not because the Airlines checks your passport to confirm you have the right visas if there needed aheady of time when you’re going into these countries ...because they don’t want to have fly you back if you’re not allowed in that country...
