Go be a Amnesty Surrender Monkey somewhere else!
I didn’t say I was for giving all of them amnesty. Take the blinders off and try to deal with reality.
Reality is we’re not going to send 11,00,000+ back. You can pretend if you wish but it’s not going to happen. Personally, I believe we should give them the opportunity for citizenship but it would be with a few requirements. Things like ......
(1) register immediately
(2) proof of stable employment and paying taxes
(3) proof that they can maintain stability without welfare.
(4) any crimes and they’re sent out of the nation and no chance for citizenship.
(5) provide for their own insurance coverage.
(6) After a period of 7 - 10 years, they take a citizenship test in ENGLISH.
(7) And maybe a few other strings I am not thinking of right now.
Personally, I am for dealing with reality. I believe the best way to handle this situation is to show them respect and give them the opportunity.
I believe a lot of these PEOPLE would take more pride in their citizenship than a lot of the dirtbags we call citizens now.
I also believe Latino identify more with conservative principals than they do liberalism. Most have a Christian background, they’re hard workers, and they’re more family oriented than liberals. If republicans were smart, they could win over the Latinos. It’s the demos that would then be in deep s#$^.

So which Rand Paul are we to believe?
The one that has proposed his own Amnesty plan, who is dead set against using E-Verify?
Or the one who refused to vote on Marco Rubio's Amnesty plan?
Could it be that the reason Rand Paul didn't vote for Rubio's Amnesty plan was because it was not his own and he thought he could do Amnesty better?

Every single one? Including those, getting paid cash under the table or directly from the black market? All those people (every single one) are guilty of tax evasion, which last time I looked was a FELONY!
You want to grant them amnesty too, and then call it a banana?

Rand’s position on Amnesty:
“I do not support amnesty, I support legal immigration and recognize that the country has been enriched by those who seek the freedom to make a life for themselves. However, millions of illegal immigrants are crossing our border without our knowledge and causing a clear threat to our national security. I want to work in the Senate to secure our border immediately. In addition, I support the creation of a border fence and increased border patrol capabilities.
Immigrants should meet the current requirements, which should be enforced and updated. I realize that subsidizing something creates more of it, and do not think the taxpayer should be forced to pay for welfare, medical care and other expenses for illegal immigrants. Once the subsidies for illegal immigration are removed, the problem will likely become far less common.
I support local solutions to illegal immigration as protected by the 10th amendment. I support making English the official language of all documents and contracts.
Millions crossing our border without our knowledge constitutes a clear threat to our nation’s security. Instead of closing military bases at home and renting space in Europe, I am open to the construction of bases to protect our border.”

He had an immigration reform plan that called for a closed border and an increase in work visas.
It did not include an amnesty. It included a “back of the line” requirement and repealed the benefits currently being paid to illegals.
Will you be honest about this? Or is this some kind of religious fervor in play here that precludes things like facts?

No citizenship ever!
No voting rights ever!
Cut off all social benefits NOW!
Use E-Verify to keep them from gaining employment.
Then we don't have to deport them, they deport themselves.
No more Tax-Payer provided freebies that they have absolutely no right to, and they will go home all on their own.
You do not reward law-breakers, period!
And yes, you are in effect giving all of them Amnesty.
Quit Lying!

When you get Hillary in chains for her tax woes, then we can talk.
As it is, you say there are all these people who YOU know are breaking these laws and yet you don’t appear to have as complete a list as you allude to.

Dead Corpse can’t do much else but rage, and troll.
When you look at post 35, you wonder if it was posted out of ignorance, or dishonesty, but when you see the reaction to being corrected by post 60, it pretty well proves that it was dishonesty guiding Dead Corpse to post what he did.

You are using the same type of dishonest, deceitful arguments that both John McCain and now Rand Paul use to pretend that what they want to do is Amnesty.
It included a "normalization" (Taking away their illegality) of 2 million illegal Aliens each and every year.
There was no punishment included in his plan for ID Fraud (Felony) which most of them have committed multiple times over. A crime that if you and I had committed, we'd be in prison so fast it would make you're head spin.
Any legislation that allows these criminals the ability to become citizens is by definition, Amnesty.
Quit your Lying!

Rands position on Amnesty:
Rand's stated position on Amnesty today, but he has no renounced his Amnesty plan from last year:
Here are the links, from last year, where Rand Paul clearly lays out his own Amnesty plan for 2 million illegals per year, based on a "Certification" from a Pro-Amnesty congress that the border is "secure". No Fence, No E-Verify, No punishments for ID Fraud, and all the other misdemeanors and felonies committed by the Undocumented Democrats he wants to pardon.

lol...this thread is typical. Both Cruz and Rand would be great choices and yet FReepers are already getting nasty about which one is great and which one is the devil. They’re both acceptable, IMO. Rand is a better communicator with the average person, especially the younger generations. Cruz has a brilliant mind. As a matter of fact, he would make a good SC justice.
I’d like to see and hear more from Gov. Scott Walker. I don’t think he was on the list, was he?

The only ones misrepresenting Rand Paul's position on Amnesty are the Paul supporters on this thread who refuse to be honest that Rand Paul's Immigration Plan is nothing but Amnesty.
