I saw the passenger manifest and cannot make sense of the two children from the USA that were onboard.
From the names that were listed, I didn't see anything there that indicated their parents were passengers. Of course, maybe some kin/friends were accompanying them.
Just my conspiracy theory so take it for what it's worth.
I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s a conspiracy, unless they were flying on the stolen passports.
Link to manifest?
Now that would be strange, but parents do often put their kids on flights unaccompanied to be met at the other end by family, etc.
Chinese parents? Perhaps the children were products of “birth tourism”.
True. But if I’m not mistaken, the ages of these children were 4 and 2. I cannot imagine children of those ages flying for a 6 hr flight with strangers.
Here you go wtd
yeah... that is weird. Perhaps they were adopted. But then the names would have been changed. That is strange. Good find.
Mother was traveling under her new married or her previous maiden name? No reason to think a passenger wasn’t the the mother these days.
Very possibly anchor babies of some kind.
The manifest has been posted multiple times all day on FR.
One of the children was listed with a last name of Meng-USA. There were other Meng’s on the plane but none were of USA residency.
The other child was Zhang-USA and there were also plenty of adult Zhang’s but again, none appear to be USA residents.
Strange to me.....
Birth tourism? Popular among Asians.
I agree it is strange but I’d make one point: It’s possible those passengers with the same last names were indeed the parents but weren’t US citizens even though their children are. For example, I am an American, and my daughter is an American. However, her father is Australian & lives in the US on a Visa. When we travel, his passport is Australian. If my daughter were to be on an international flight with him alone, their last names are the same, but she would be identified as an American and him as an Aussie.
Well...close to 200 Chinese passengers flying in a plane piloted by Muslims just when other Muslims are attacking Chinese elsewhere (train stations, etc.).
What could possibly go wrong?
How were those two people allowed to board with stolen/lost passports?
Shouldn’t those passports have been flagged?
any names connected to Whitewater?
When I heard last night that there was 1 adult and two children on board..I assumed the American listed, Philip Wood(Who worked for IBM and lived in Texas), was the father of the two children, but I guess that was wrong, those two children are not his, so whose children are they?
“How were those two people allowed to board with stolen/lost passports?”

Don’t know, but I wonder if they were booked for first class seats—you know, up near the cockpit.
