True. But if I’m not mistaken, the ages of these children were 4 and 2. I cannot imagine children of those ages flying for a 6 hr flight with strangers.

yeah... that is weird. Perhaps they were adopted. But then the names would have been changed. That is strange. Good find.

I don’t know if things have changed, but it used to be that children had to be at least 13 to fly unaccompanied. My mother kept on asking me to send my daughter to Spain in June, with me coming to visit and pick her up in late July, but no airline would agree until she was 13.

Stewards/Stewardesses are assigned to children traveling alone either due to divorce or death, and are met by airline personnel if requested at the other end with the parents for security reasons.
